It was a cool afternoon in Seoul, lunch had just started at Jieun's school.
She was sitting at a bench with a bag of food, waiting for her best friend, Hyebin.
Jieun's hair was a dark brown colour, it was short, like a boy cut. She had coloured clips on the sides to make her seem more 'feminine' and she had glazed olive skin with doey dark brown eyes. Her face was petite but round, and her pouty lips plus adorably small height made her seem innocent and friendly.
But, even-though she looked friendly and put together, she wasn't really the most popular amongst her classmates, she was always getting in trouble and causing some sort of scene in class. Speaking of which, she had a detention later in the day.
"Jieun!" Hyebin waved at the patient girl with a wide smile on her face.
"What took you so long?" Jieun groaned.
"Sorry, I was on the phone with my mother," Hyebin apologised and sat down next to her friend. She opened her lunch box hastily and pulled out a pair of chopsticks, she then looked down at Jieun's lunch and giggled.
"Is that all you're having?" She asked. Jieun had one triangle Kimbap.
"I feel like i'm getting fat-," She got interrupted by a slice of an omelette being put in her mouth.
"Just eat mine," She chuckled.
"Lesbians!" A pair of boys walked by and laughed at the two girls.
Jieun's focus was set on them and an angry expression appeared on her face. "Hey! Do you think you're funny?" She shot up from the bench and started shouting at them. "So what if we are lesbian? Why would it matter? Ugly bastard!" She carried on.
"The little kid is getting angry again," One of the boys stated with amusement in his voice.
Jieun sighed and sat back down on the bench as the two boys walked away, jeering at eachother and imitating Jieun's voice. After they had walked up a bit, Jieun started hitting the air hastily.
"It's okay Jieun, it's not your fault that you're not even a tad bit intimidating," Hyebin said as she patted Jieun on the back.
"Maybe I should start hitting the gym, get myself ripped," She looked down at her skinny legs and sighed. "How much are gym memberships-,"
She got interrupted by a herd of school kids rushing by. The pair looked around in confusion, it seemed like everyone was going over to the courts.
