Lunch had come around, the students were still shaken up about what happened, it was the main topic for conversations today.
Jieun had made her way to the lunch hall with Hyebin, her lunchbox in hand. She searched around for a spare seat in the ocean of kids.
"Jieun!" Mingi got up from his chair and waved at the two so they began to walk over.
He then looked over at Jongho. "Move," He urged.
Jongho's eyebrows lifted as he stopped eating. "Why?" He asked, food still in his mouth.
"So Jieun can sit here, hurry!" Mingi insisted and patted his friend off the seat. "Jieun sit here-," He turned around but was met with her already sat opposite him, next to Hongjoong.
"What?" She questioned.
Jongho let out a snicker as Mingi sighed into his food, and he sat back down.
Then suddenly, everyone's eyes shot up at the guy walking towards their table, it was Seonghwa.
Jieun turned to him and her eyes met his, but then he stopped. She turned back around and saw San piercing into his soul, eating the boy away with guilt. Nervously, Seonghwa gulped and rushed to the table furthest away from them.
"Who does that idiot think he is?" San snarled as he scraped his spoon along the bottom of his bowl.
"Maybe he came over to apologise, you can't be annoyed forever San," Yunho replied, trying to be sympathetic for his friend.
Quickly, San smacked his hand on the table, causing everyone to jump. "Why? Why can't I be annoyed?! He betrayed me!" He exclaimed.
Yunho pouted and looked down in embarrassment. Although San is short, he's hard to crack and quite scary.
Yeosang groaned sadly as he looked across the lunch hall. Staring at Wooyoung, his long-time friend.
He and Wooyoung were friends through middle school, they were inseparable. Yeosang was Wooyoung's only friend before high school, and Wooyoung was his.
After the fight, they stopped talking to each-other, they don't even share glances in the hallways anymore. It pains Yeosang to let a good friend go, but without Mingi and his friends, he would be nothing. But is that really better than a true friend?
