Extra-IT WAS HER FAULT!!!

3rd person's POV

Amani woke up feeling very exited but she couldn't remember why. So after trying to figure out why for what felt like hours to her -but was really minutes- she decided to try to wake Mila up in the most gentle way possible. . . By jumping on her bed while screaming AMILAAA! AMILAA! AMIIIIILLLLLAAAAAAAAA! At the top of her lungs in the highest pitch she could reach.

"What?!" Amila asked while pushing her twin sister off her bed.

"Aue marie e te tuahine (oh cheer up sister)" Mani replied in a teasing tone.

"What?" Mila replied after glaring at her.

Mani sighed, and flopped on Amila's bed very dramatically while saying "i tenei ra ... he ra motuhake (today...is a special day)"

"Okay. Why?" Amila asked with an arched brow.

"umm ... Kaore au e tino mohio (umm...i don't really know)" Mani answered slowly.

"Then why on earth did you wake me up at (check's clock) 7:23 on a SATURDAY MORNING!!" Mila yelled through clenched teeth obviously pissed at being woken up so early.

"No te mea he ra motuhake tenei ra! (Because today is a special day!)" Mani said after being pushed off Mila's bed.

"If today is soooo special did you check the calendar?"

"OH...riiiiigggggghhhhhttt" Mani said with a sheepish smile making her way to the marked calendar they had in their room.
"Ugh putá" Mila said with an eye roll while her sister walked over to their book shelf where the calendar stood.
"Ahhh its má's birthday' Mani screeched causing Mila to cover her ears.
"Could you be any louder"aye growled under her breath causing her twin to roll her eyes in reply.
"We need to do something for her" Mani stated after a short pause.
"No duh" (que eye roll from Mani- these nine year olds are actually the sassyest people to exist tho)
"But what?"

"Okay so flour "Mani started with a determined look painted on her face while staring at the list on the counter with a pen in her hands.
"Check"
"Eggs"
"Check"
"Butter"
"Mani shouldn't we just use the pancake mix? And maybe ask someone for help." Mila said unsure.
"BUTTER!!!" Mani yelled not answering her sister's question.
"CHECK" Mila replied just as loud.
"Sugar"
"Yup"
"Water"
"Check"
"Baking powder"
"Check"
"Food dye"
"Check"
"Ketchup"
"Yes"
"Salt "
"Mhmmm"
"Finally oil in dah pan"

"..."
"Please never do that again." Mila said in a mock disappointed tone making Mani roll her eyes.
"Letts just start"
"Okay but one problem"
"Which is?"
"We are nine we dont know how to make our own cereal not to talk of a whole batch of pancakes for má's birthday."
Mani scoffed.
"Honey speak or your self"

To say the kitchen was a mess would be a great underexaggeration taking note of the fact that most of the cake batter had ended up on the floor rother than in the bowl.
"Soooooo what do we so now?"Mani asked her sister after looking around at their master piece of a mess.
"Putà why you asking me you are the one who suggested we made the  pancakes"
"Ya! But you are the one who stupidly agreed!"
"What do you mea-BEEEEP BEEEEP BEEEEEP" their arguement was cut off by the constant beeping of the fire alarm which was followed by the quick footsteps of their worried parents.
"What is going  on!!!" Their mother asked frantically while bursting into the kitchen with their father behind her. Only to abruptly stop at the horrifying scene of the kitchen with their two little girls in the middle covered head to toe with what was supposed to be pancake batter but was not for obvious reasons-they are nine year olds duh- looking extremely guilty.
"Wow." Their dad said in pure amusement after looking around.
"We'resorrywejusttriedtodosomethingniceformá'sbirthdayanditendedupeverywhere" Mani said all in one breath while Mila pointed to her saying
"IT WAS HER FAULT!!!!!"
