it was a bright and early monday morning. phantom was lying peacefully in her bed, her blue and black bangs covering her pale face. there was a moment of comforting silence in her dungeon themed bedroom before her alarm went off. phantom heard the soothing voice of brendon urie as her favorite panic! at the disco song, "i write sins, not tragedies", echoed throughout her room.phantom groaned as she opened her dark brown eyes. she stared at the dark ceiling above her.
"the bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone," phantom said. she had been dreaming about dying and laying in her grave, the chapter in her life that the emo could not wait to happen.
she stared again to the ceiling, welling in her own sadness and deep emotions. after staring for sometime, she realized something terrible.
"fuck, it's monday."
she laid there contemplating whether if she should go to school or not. school was a waste of time, energy, and social interactions that she did not want to have. she slowly got up from her bed, trying to decide if she would go over not. as she was walking tiredly across her room, she stopped when she had made her decision.
"nah, i'll skip," phantom declared, with no emotion whatsoever, because you have to remember that she is emo and quirky and not like other girls.
she walked over to her dark black skateboard, dark like her soul, if she even had one. she stepped on it and rode out of her bedroom, into her kitchen. the kitchen was an insanely bright yellow and it hurt the emo's heavily darkened eyes.
"ugh," phantom said, hating life, hating herself, wanting to die already.
as phantom was skating over to the cabinet to grab some ramen, her sister- bex- came over and greeted her younger sister.
"hey what's popping!" bex said, in an overly enthusiastic tone, her purple hair bouncing up and down, matching her peppiness.
phantom slowly turned to face her sister, giving her a death glare. there was an awkward moment of silence before the youngest spoke.
"not all scars show, not all wounds heal," she said, her voice lacking any emotion. she sounded like if the google robot voice was getting kidnapped.
bex just stared at her younger sister, used to this kind of behavior from the emo.
"okey dokey!" she said happily.
phantom slowly stepped off her skateboard as she spoke next. "sometimes you can't always see the pain someone feels." she stared at her older sister before speaking again. "bye."
phantom then stepped onto her skateboard again and rode out of the kitchen. bex turned and looked at the ground below her. she sighed loudly, not knowing what the hell to do with her weird ass sister.
phantom decided to skip class, so she was riding her skateboard around the park by her house. while she was riding, she saw a furry that she was aware went to her school. she sighed, "ugh people," she whispered to herself, before catching a good look of the other girl.
the other girl had darker skin that looked like a warm cappuccino on a cold morning. her eyes were a golden honey brown, sweet and full of life. her cheeks were a beautiful rosy pink that complemented her warm skin tone. she had a black heart drawn on her cheek, and a short crop top that showed off her toned stomach. her hair was a pinkish purple color that complement her ears and tail of the same color.
this girl was fucking beautiful.
the girls cherry red full lips parted as she spoke, "hi!" she said cheerfully, her voice high and squeaky, but still friendly.
"i'm fleur!" the girl said as she smiled sweetly, as she looked at the other.
"bye," phantom said. sure this girl was beautiful, but she doesn't mix with happy people. they were a disease. as the emo was about to skate away, the furry squeaked up.
"wait!" she said, putting her arm up to signify that she wanted phantom to stay. "let's walk to school together!" she said, not aware about phantoms intentions about wanting to skip.
phantom crossed her arms, a stern look on her face. as she stepped off her skateboard she responded unenthusiastically. "nah fam, i'm good."
fleur pouted her full lips, looking a bit sad. "it'll be so fun! pleaseeeeeeeeeeee!" she said, begging the other.
phantom thought for a moment before shrugging. she sighed, "fine, whatever."
fleur excitedly clapped her hands together. "yay! let's go!" she announced as she started walking. phantom got her her skateboard and started riding behind her. she had a small hint of a smile on her face. but don't get it wrong, she wasn't smiling, because she's emo.
"hmm, what's your name?" fleur asked politely, still looking ahead of her.
"phantom," the emo said, looking at the furry's tail bouncing, them looking up and down, lowkey checking her out. all the homo though.
"aww~ that's such a cute name!" fleur said smiling, genuinely meaning it.
phantom stopped riding her skateboard for a moment, feeling heat rising to her cheeks. she had just met this girl, but what was this feeling? why are their butterflies in her stomach? her pupils widened with admiration for the girl in front of her. something deep inside her got this urge that she needed to protect the furry at all cost.
oh shit.
