Benjamin's perspective
It is fall which means the "love"festival will be next week. The festival is not really about love and stuff but Boris and I call it the "love"festival because Samantha gets home with a new girlfriend every year.
I never really go to the festival, but my mom keeps saying I might find myself a girlfriend there. I'm not even into girls. Not that I'm planning on telling her I'm gay any time soon tho. Even Boris doesn't know, Samantha does. I didn't tell her but she's just always known. She knew even before I did. At least she doesn't know I have been crushing on her brother ever since we were 15 years old.
15 seems like a long time ago. Back then we were still in school. I remember always checking Boris out while we were in the gym. Now we all have our own jobs so Boris and I don't spend that much time together even though we live in the same house.
Maybe we can go to the festival together, you know like friends do. I might even have the courage to tell him I'm gay. Maybe even.... No he doesn't need to know about me having a crush on him. After all I'm pretty sure he's into girls.
Oh he got back from work, great. Now I can ask him to go to the festival with me.
Bj:"Hey man." "how was work?"
Boris: "Oh it was okay I guess, work is work after all."
Bj: "How 'bout you take a day of next week and we go to the festival together so my mom will stop saying we need to go out and get ourselves a girlfriend."
Boris: "yeah, sounds good."
