"The cops weren't able to do anything, just like Kuroko suspected." Jaku mumbles to himself as he walks into Akademi High. Already he was beginning to suspect that Ayano had something to do with the dead body that Aoi had found, but since there was no hard evidence that she had in fact murdered Osana, the student that Aoi identified, it was hard to do anything. All of yesterday was dedicated to mourning Osana's passing and the day after was fairly glum. This did not stop Uekiya from being her usual cheery self, nor did it stop Budo from being the hero Akademi High needed. Today Jaku heads straight to the martial arts club and meets up with Budo to discuss club matters...

"Wait, so today will be your last day in this club?" Budo asks.

"Yep. I want to get some last bits of training this morning, then I'm giving up my headband." Jaku replies.

"I understand." Budo says, and with that Jaku does his last little session with his fellow practitioners before handing over his headband to Budo. "It was an honor training you."

"Likewise it was an honor training under you. May the club continue to prosper." Jaku says as he shakes Budo's hand and takes his leave. Knowing he won't be able to rejoin, he decides to make use of the training he's had and heads into the student council room where Kuroko meets with him.

"Hm... Is something the matter?" Kuroko asks.

"I'm thinking of joining the student council at some point." Jaku replies. "Is it possible for me to join?" Kuroko takes some time to think before looking at Jaku dejectedly.

"I'm sorry but I'm afraid I'm not allowed to let anyone else join. President's orders." Kuroko says and Jaku deflates.

"Wait you're not the president?" Jaku asks.

"I'm only vice-president and currently in charge. The president, Megami, is out on important business." Kuroko replies. "She gave me specific orders to be on high alert and not let anyone in the council for now. When she returns she may take you into consideration."

"I understand." Jaku says.

"Had I still been the president I would have let you join. You seem like a very diligent student, even after all the things that have happened to you, and you have a good heart." Kuroko replies. "It will be a few weeks before Megami returns, but I'll let her know about you."

"Thank you." Jaku says before he takes his leave. "I swear I'm all over the place." He chuckles to himself. "And I'm no gardener either so I couldn't possibly join Uekiya, although I do like her..." And with that he heads to class and notices that Ayano is back in class.

"So... What were you doing out in the bathrooms yesterday?" Jaku asks.

"You saw nothing." Ayano replies.

"Are you sure about that? If it was such you wouldn't have to knock me out." Jaku says. "Ah whatever." And with that the teacher enters and class begins like normal. Time flies by like a bird and before Jaku knows it he's outside eating with Uekiya and the rest of her group.

"You quit the martial arts club?" Uekiya asks.

"Yeah." Jaku replies. "On top of the injuries I keep suffering and my suspicions, I decided it would be best if I left the club. Budo and I still respect each other greatly."

"That's good." Uekiya says. "Say what happened? I heard about a dead body being found in the bathroom or something like that."

"You know Ayano right?" Jaku asks, and Uekiya nods. "I saw her coming out of the bathrooms a few days ago with something odd in her hands. I went to ask her what it was but before I could say anything she punched my lights out."

"Ow! That must have hurt!" Uekiya replies. "I only know Ayano because she seems to like stalking this guy in my class. Someone by the name of Taro. It's almost like she's obsessed."

"I had a hunch something was up but I never really knew what it was." Jaku says. Once again Jaku and his senpai notice that her club members have left and they have to return to class soon. Remembering what happened the last few times, Jaku and Uekiya enter the school through the front doors instead of the side doors they usually enter from, thwarting any chances of having something drop on them, and once Akane finds the duo she accompanies them as well to make sure nothing crazy happens. As luck would have it though, something is tossed at their feet and it explodes upon impact, releasing a noxious cloud of some sorts.

"Oh god that smells! UGH!" Jaku shouts as he covers his nose.

"EWW!" Uekiya yells, hacking and coughing. "Oh it smells like rotten fertilizer! Ew! Ew! EEWWW!!!"

"Ugh that smells like rotten fish! BLECH!" Akane shouts, gagging on the terrible smell. Eventually Aoi, Kuroko and Shiromi hear their yelling and they too smell something absolutely awful.

"Oh... I think I will throw up if I stand here any longer!" Kuroko mumbles, feeling queasy.

"Oh my GOD!" Shiromi screams, pinching her nose and hacking and coughing.

"It's stinging my eye! ARGH!" Aoi yells as she covers her entire face with her hands. "How can someone make something that stinks worse than a dead fish?!" And with that the entire student council, along with Jaku and Uekiya, make a break for it to escape the horrible smell. When they're finally out of range the group takes in a deep breath of fresh air.

"Someone needs to keep an eye on the chemicals..." Kuroko says once everyone's calmed down.

"I agree." Jaku replies.
