Jaku found that time passed by very quickly, and before he knew it he was out on the rooftop making sure nothing too crazy was happening. Uekiya followed close behind, acting like a second set of eyes, and once Jaku had gone through a third sweep he stops at a bench to eat a quick lunch.
"So you do this every day?" Uekiya asks.
"Pretty much." Jaku replies. "I guess you've only started to notice since you started following me around."
"Yeah, I guess." Uekiya chuckles, trying to hide her blush.
"Oh yeah! I bet Osoro's gonna kick your ass!" A voice shouts out and Jaku quickly whips his head around to see Osoro and a martial arts club member about to duke it out.
"Hey hey hey! Break it up!" Jaku yells as he rushes over and puts himself inbetween the two combatants. "You guys should know better than to do stuff like this."
"Man you're no fun." Osoro mumbles, but walks away like last time.
"Thank you." The martial artist says. "They were egging me on, shoving me around, all of that kind of stuff."
"Hey, at least I was able to do something." Jaku replies as the martial artist walks off. When he returns to Uekiya she's almost done with her bento, picking at a few veggies with her chopsticks before finishing them off.
"I swear those delinquents are bad to the bone." Uekiya says. "Especially since Osoro came back."
"Believe me if she or her cronies do anything they won't be around for long." Jaku replies. "Well, anyways are you ready for the evening?"
"The restaurant that Kuroko picked out is so fancy! I talked with Akane earlier and she told me about it, and just looking it up..." Uekiya says, pulling out her phone and showing Jaku the restaurant.
"Wow, Kuroko really went all out." Jaku chuckles.
"That's a perk of being associated with the heiress of a powerful company." A formal voice says confidently as Jaku looks to see Kuroko standing before them. "Normally Megami would not allow you to come, but just for tonight I'll make an exception because she's not here at the moment."
"Really? I would be so honored!" Uekiya replies.
"I'll just say you have connections with him. Just make sure you have at least ten thousand yen on you, we only get discounts because of our association." Kuroko says before she leaves. "By the way I'd return to your classroom if I were you, I think I saw Ayano in there."
"Thank you for the heads up." Jaku replies as he makes his way back to his classroom and Uekiya does the same. Just as Kuroko suspected Ayano is in class, albeit giving Jaku the dirtiest of looks for some odd reason. He ends up taking a different empty seat further from Ayano as a result and the class continues without any crazy interruptions. When class ends the student council performs their last few sweeps before meeting in the student council room. Aoi is about to go shut the doors when Kuroko stops her.
"Jaku is bringing along a plus one." Kuroko says as Uekiya enters the room, and Aoi can't help but snicker. "Do we all have at least ten thousand yen?" And with that, everyone nods. "Alright, I expect this night out to be a fairly fun one. I'll see you all at the restaurant later, make sure you look nice."
"Alright, catch you all there!" Jaku says as the council leaves school grounds and they all head to their respective homes to clean themselves up. An hour passes and Jaku is the first one to reach the restaurant, waiting just outside the doors in a fancy suit, complete with black tie. One by one the student council members arrive, and they've clearly made the most out of their time. Akane is the second person to arrive and she has taken to wearing a white dress that falls to her knees and a pair of white heels adorn her feet while she has kept her feather hair accessory and her lace garter belt.
"Is it just me or have you beat Kuroko here? She's very punctual and would have been the first one here!" Akane giggles.
"I'm not sure." Jaku chuckles. "You look nice by the way."
"Thank you!" Akane replies. The third to arrive is Kuroko, who has taken to wearing all black: black dress, black pantyhose and black flats. "Oh Kuroko! We were just talking about you earlier?"
"What about?" Kuroko asks, cocking her head to one side.
"You're normally very punctual. We thought you would have been the first person here." Akane replies.
"Well, you got me there." Kuroko chuckles, showing off a ghost of a smile. The fourth person to arrive is Shiromi, who has taken to wearing a white suit and having kept her scarf.
"Are you trying to copy my style?" Shiromi chuckles, looking at Jaku's suit. "I'm just kidding."
"Of course you were." Jaku chuckles as he and Shiromi share a good laugh. The fifth person to arrive is Aoi and she has taken to wearing a navy blue suit, but nothing else has really changed. "Looking sharp Aoi!"
"Thanks." Aoi says with a smile. Finally Uekiya arrives, and Jaku's jaw drops.
"Uekiya... Oh wow..." Jaku says, unable to find words to describe how beautiful Uekiya is. At this point Aoi can't help but laugh before Akane gives her a dirty look, effectively shutting up the council enforcer. Uekiya has ditched her flower accessory, but has taken to wearing a black dress that's significantly fancier than Kuroko's and black heeled sandals; while simple it does wonders in enhancing her natural beauty. "Did mother nature herself bless you?"
"I'm flattered." Uekiya giggles as she twirls around. Jack recomposes himself and stands tall and proud before walking over to Uekiya's side.
"Shall I provide escort for you, young madam?" Jaku asks, attempting his best mid-atlantic accent. The entire group can't help but laugh along.
"Please do." Uekiya replies as she links arms with Jaku and follows the student council into the restaurant.
