The sound of helicopter blades can be heard from afar as Jaku and the rest of the student council await the arrival of the student council president. Once the copter touches down just before the entrance to the academy, Megami Saikou herself steps out and bids the pilot goodbye as he takes off. Megami wears the same uniform as the other students, but she has black stockings, long black gloves and the ever so familiar council armband on her left arm, and her silver eyes pick out Jaku amongst the group.
"Ms. Saikou, an honor to meet you in person." Jaku says, approaching Megami and shaking her hand.
"Please, for now just refer to me as Megami." Megami replies. "How has the newest member been doing?"
"Pretty well." Kuroko replies. "He's been doing a good job keeping Ayano at bay."
"Excellent." Megami says. "Well, shall we all meet in the council room?" And with that the group heads into the student council room to discuss matters that the president may have missed out on.
"And yeah, that's the most that's happened so far." Jaku says as the student council finishes filling Megami in on what's been going on.
"Say, has anyone seen Ayano as of late?" Megami asks.
"Last I heard she was in the infirmary after picking a fight with Osoro before she was expelled." Jaku replies. "Otherwise I haven't seen her as of today. We've been following your orders to keep a high alert for her."
"Say what role have you fulfilled? I'm only curious." Megami asks. "I've received many positive remarks from Kuroko about you."
"I'm an enforcer alongside Aoi." Jaku replies.
"I must say, keep up the good work. Now let's all move along, we have patrols to do." Megami says.
"Right." Kuroko and Jaku reply simultaneously as the student council moves out into their positions. Jaku ends up encountering Taro and Hanako and looks at them worriedly.
"Everything alright?" Jaku asks.
"Yeah, we've gotten over what happened yesterday." Taro replies.
"Thank you for saving me!" Hanako says.
"If you ever need anything, come to the student council room. It's what we're here for." Jaku replies as he heads up to the roof and notices Ayano waiting around on the roof. "Huh, looks like she's back..."
"Huh?" Ayano says as she turns around to see Jaku. She attempts to approach him but then...
"Oi, too close for comfort." Jaku replies sternly as he shoves her away. A few more minutes pass and Jaku heads to class, but not unlike the past few times, Ayano isn't around. With that, Jaku pulls out his walkie-talkie and stands just outside the classroom. "Looks like Ayano isn't in class. I don't know what she plans on doing but I've got my suspicions."
"I'm giving you the green light to investigate." Megami's voice crackles. "Use any means to detain her if necessary."
"Roger that." Jaku replies as he nods to his sensei and heads out into the now desolate halls. It's almost ominous, even though Jaku knows that everyone else is in class. With no quick means of calling for help, Jaku carefully scans the halls in search of Ayano. "Huh... Where is she...?" That's when Jaku decides to head outside and before he can even step a foot beyond the doors he dodges out of the way just in time to see a tub full of gasoline drop where he would have stood. "What the?!" Suddenly a lit match is thrown onto the ground, setting the gasoline ablaze, but Jaku quickly grabs a nearby fire extinguisher and puts out the flames without a second hitch. "Megami, come in, I just avoided getting turned into a human bonfire."
"This is bad..." Megami's voice crackles. "Was anyone injured?"
"I'm the only one out here right now, nobody else is around me right now." Jaku replies, feeling for his can of pepper spray in his hidden blazer pocket. "I'm heading to the roof. If I don't respond in the next few minutes, have someone come up here."
"Alright." Megami's voice crackles before communication is cut and Jack quickly makes his way to the roof. As soon as he reaches the roof, he does a thorough sweep, whipping his head around to look behind him in case Ayano was trying something, but unsurprisingly she's nowhere to be found and Jaku pulls out his walkie-talkie once more.
"Looks like Ayano took off as soon as she attempted to burn me. I don't know where she is right now, but I'm going to need backup if I'm going to catch this girl." Jaku says, carefully looking around the roof to make sure he hasn't missed any potential hiding spots.
"Understood." Megami's voice crackles.
"I'm heading out there right now." Aoi's voice suddenly crackles. "That girl's gotta be here somewhere."
"I heard your call, I'm heading out." Akane's voice crackles soon after. "Nobody can get away with something like this."
"Either we fight as one or we fall as one. I'm heading out there." Kuroko's voice crackles. "Megami and I will not allow Ayano to take out one of our council members."
"Nobody messes with my fellow council members, my friends! I'm heading out there right now." Shiromi's voice crackles. "She's attempted a direct attack on one of us and now she's gonna pay!"
"I may as well head out there myself as well. We'll catch Ayano one way or another." Megami's voice crackles. "We'll keep occasional status updates as we go."
"Thanks." Jaku says before he cuts communication. With the entire student council out on the prowl, Jaku continues his search for Ayano.
