Death?

The last thing she heard before she blacked out ... Was Meliodas's cry for Merlin... And him lifting her off of the glass....

Meliodas's POV
I finally managed to break the door to Elizabeth's bedroom down, running to her bathroom as soon as I was in the room. My heart shattered...

Elizabeth's mirror was completely shattered... I looked around more bracing myself for the worst She's not dead... Is she?... I looked down at the floor my face filling with pure terror. No... No! No! No!No!!

Elizabeth.. was laying on the floor with bad enough injuries she could be in critical condition..

Elizabeth's once silver hair was now red from her own blood.. I fell to my knees in front of Elizabeth, I lifted Elizabeth up ignoring the pain shooting up in my knees from the glass on the floor.

"MERLIN!!" I yelled. She came to Elizabeth's room quick as a flash.  Her eyes even filled with shock.. "Captain lay the Princess down. I'll go get medical equipment." She said, running to her room as fast as she could. While I waited for her, I stood by Elizabeth's side. With how psychotic Diane is I don't want to leave her alone.

Just as I was getting ready to go look for medical equipment myself, Merlin came back she asked me as kindly as possible to leave the room, so she could properly aid Elizabeth. When Merlin was finished bandaging Elizabeth she also feared for the Goddess. Merlin didn't know how to tell Meliodas the news but she had to before he tried to figure it out for himself.

Merlin's POV
How am I supposed to tell the Captain she needs more aid then I can give her. Aid only he can get.. It won't be easy but I have to tell him before he tries to figure out what's wrong with her himself. I know all though he can do it something at the back of my mind is telling me Elizabeth will get side effects from the healing. A demons way of healing is much different then a mages let alone a Goddess's.

I don't want to think too much about it but something still tells me this could go wrong and we could loose Ellie.

( I'm gonna make up my own way of how Meliodas heals Ellie. It may be weird but I'm trying my best to keep this story entertaining. )

Nobody's POV
"I GOTTA WHAT??!?" Meliodas shouted. Worried about his lover and concerned at the fact Merlin's healing methods aren't enough to help Elizabeth. "You gotta heal her. It's our only choice if we don't want to loose her." Merlin said trying to act as calm as possible. "I don't want to loose her! I don't even want to think of loosing her. Hell, I'd go through the darkest pits of Purgatory and back for her! She's my everything! I could never live with myself if she died! If it's for Ellie I'll risk it." Meliodas said. His bangs covering his eyes as he looked down at the floor then back up to Ellie.

Just as they came to an agreement Elizabeth went into a coughing fit causing blood to spew from her mouth and onto herself. "I'll leave so your not put under anymore pressure and can concentrate." Merlin said exiting the room leaving Meliodas and a dying Elizabeth.

( This little bit coming up won't make sense but I'll try to make it sound good. )

Meliodas's job is to lend Elizabeth some of his blood. But also make sure her body doesn't reject the demon blood going into her. If by chance her body rejects it, it's certain death, unless the sins can find another way to heal her. Or until Merlin can make a strong enough spell in enough time to save her. This death will be it for her. She won't reincarnate due to the demon blood.

Once Meliodas lended her some blood she winced in pain as her body reacted to his demon blood going into her system. After a few minutes of coughing up blood, Elizabeth was back to her normal self. She still needed to rest so none of the sins let her get up, Merlin would help her use the restroom, Ban would bring her food, and Meliodas would stay in her room and keep her entertained.

Everyone kept their hopes up that she would be okay. Meliodas still has his moments with being a pervert with his comments. Diane, who Merlin found a cure to the spell a Holy Knight placed on her to trigger her envious side towards Elizabeth, would beat the shit out of Meliodas when she was around to hear his comments.

One morning, Elizabeth asked Meliodas to lay with her all day. He was going to originally leave her alone to get extra rest but he couldn't say no to her. "Hey cap'n, Princess, Your breakfast is re- what the hell?" Ban said as he walked into their room confused. "Shh. Don't wake Elizabeth. I swear we didn't do anything last night. She just wanted me to lay with her all day." Meliodas explained to his smirking friend.

"Alright.. Just know your breakfast is getting cold." Ban said as he shut the door walking back downstairs to the others.
