Love vs Fate ( Melizabeth lemon )

Saving Elizabeth

Hey guys! I'm going to try and make this chapter, seem like it makes sense. It's going to seem weird or something nobody would normally do, but I'm trying to be as quick to get these chapters done so, I can get to the Melizabeth part of the story.

Nobody's POV

Morning came quick. Almost too quick. Merlin had to go to Meliodas and Elizabeth's shared room to wake him up. The poor captain didn't get very much sleep at all since he again had a nightmare about loosing Elizabeth.

Merlin didn't even want to wake him up but she knew they couldn't waste time finding the ingredients for Merlin to make the spell to cure her. It was up to mostly Meliodas, since the main ingredient was a flower that's deep in the pits of Purgatory. Merlin knew she wouldn't make it in there even if she tried.

"Captain it's time to go." Merlin said loud enough to wake him up but, instead woke up Elizabeth. "Meliodas sama, you have to get up." Elizabeth said calmly shaking him lightly. "Thank you Elizabeth. Is he awake?" Merlin, asked standing in the door arms crossed as usual. "Good morning Ellie! Hey Merlin. We all ready to go?" "Well you have to get dressed first but yes we are ready. I have food packed and stuff we need for the journey."

Meliodas hopped out of bed, and looked at Merlin with a cheerful yet pained smile. "I'll get dressed. Be out in a few" He said letting Merlin exit on her own. His gaze soon fell to the ground, as his bangs covered his eyes he mumbled only enough for him to hear, "I love you, Elizabeth.."

Elizabeth's POV
I heard what Meliodas, mumbled it made my heart rate quicken. I tried to go back to sleep, after Meliodas got up but it was weird not having him in the bed with me. I was scared to be alone, I knew I wasn't alone I had the others with me, but it still felt weird. ( That's a lot of 'I's )

I trusted Diane we were friends again. But with the commandments still being out and all, I'm worried. What if they choose to attack knowing Meliodas, isn't here to save us. They already killed him once, what if they do it again? What if they take all of us away? Or even what if Estarossa, takes me away and tries to claim me as his own?

I only love Meliodas. I'd die for him, he's my everything. I don't even want to think about, him going through Purgatory and getting severely hurt and not making it out! I really hope he makes it back okay. Even if they don't get all the ingredients to save me, at least I know we will meet one day in death..

I woke up all a sudden when Meliodas, was putting his shirt on. "Meliodas.." I said firmly. He looked over at me confused that I was, awake. "Yes Elizabeth?" He responded.

"Please promise me.. That no matter what you will come out of Purgatory alive. That you will come back to me save, and sound. Unharmed. I couldn't possibly get over your death again!" I said, tears forming in my eyes. "Elizabeth, I'll be okay don't worry. I just want to get these ingredients, get back here and heal you. I promise I'll try my best not to get hurt, but it's hard to not to in Purgatory. Even if I come out of Purgatory nearly dead, you know I'll come back to you Elizabeth. I always do." Meliodas said in a calming tone.

"Besides if it means I get to come back to my sexy girlfriend, then nearly dying to save you is worth it!" He said smirking and wiggling his eyebrow.

I blushed at his comment. When did we start, dating?? "You may be asking, "when we started dating?"Well one night you got super drunk, and asked me out. I obviously said yes." He explained. I turned red. They let me drink?? I remember Merlin confronting Ban, for something. Now that I think about it, I do remember waking up weaker then usual.

I also had a skull crushing headache.
"Meliodas.. I'm asking you to make this promise because, I can't bear to see you die again. I don't want to loose you! I know Merlin said if I do die I won't reincarnate, but I know we would meet in death. I know you don't want to wait that long, if I did die, you probably would get over me and not remember me. I don't want that. I know you don't want me to die. I know you'd do anything to keep me save and, I would do the same for you. I just don't want you to die!!" I yelled breaking down into tears, again. I felt strong arms wrap around me, Meliodas was hugging me.

"Elizabeth.. Don't ever think for a second that I would forget about you, and move on. I would never forget about you. Your my one and only. That's why I'm risking my life, to save you because, I don't want to see you die again. Anyways, I gotta go with Merlin, so we can save you!" Meliodas said, before kissing my forehead and walking out of the room.
