i'm too goddamned nostalgic for earlier on slipknot right now. i love and miss joey so much and so this story was bound to happen. i don't really have a super specific time frame in mind for it; probably just sometime before like 2008 or so. also, i know i just used mick as a kind-of brother in my recent jim story but i just love the idea of him as a protective big brother so here we go again with that.
warning: this story has mentions of rape. nothing very graphic, but there are descriptions of an incident and mentions of that incident after that. i'll try and remember to go through and put trigger warnings where necessary.
