Jay looks for his phone and grabbed
it from his desk and checked who was
calling , it was Daniel. He lets out a sigh
and answered it " 'sup?" he said in a
sleepy voice "Hey Jay , I'm just wondering
if you're going to Stephen's and Hosuh's
wedding tomorrow" Daniel said

Jay raised his eyebrow "it's their
wedding day tomorrow?" he asked
"yeah... don't tell me you forgot??"
Daniel said , Jay laughs "so...are you
going?" Daniel asks him again

"I uh...don't know" Jay said "You
better go , those two will be upset if
our favourite sociopath isn't there"
Daniel jokes "yeah yeah whatever ,
are you gonna go with Ann?" he asked
"yeah , she's so excited" Daniel said

Jay laughed "so uh...is he going too?"
Jay asked with a sad smile "who?"
Daniel asked "n-no one , just forget I
asked" Jay said "ok?...anyways good
night! Hope you go" "yeah sure, night"

Jay ended the call and sighs

Jay's pov

I sat next to Daniel and Ann while
looking around , not that I'm looking
for someone or anything...ok I am
looking for someone , it's Jo. He and
I used to be a couple , but I was such
an asshole that's why he left me.

soon I saw him with a woman next
to her and a child on his arms , he
saw me and smiled , he went towards
us with the woman and child who I
assume is his wife and child "Hey Dan
Hey Ann ...and Hi Jay" he said while
staring at me

I stared at his eyes and smiled
'im sorry...I miss you' those were
the words I wanted to tell him ,
but I just can't , it feels like as if
my mouth were glued together , I
took a shaky breath "Hi J-Jo"

"how are you guys?" he asked "oh
I'm great , specially because Ann
finally became my girlfriend" Daniel
says , Jo smiles and looks at me "how
about you Jay?" he asked "I-Im fine"

Unfair...you're so unfair Jo , how can
you smile at me , talk to me , look at
me like that as if we never used to be
together...is it because you've already
moved on? And I haven't? is it because
I was the one who lost you? and now
you're someone else's?

"I-I need to use th-the restroom" I
said and immediately went to the
restroom , my eyes were blury and
my heart is aching

I felt hot tears falling , I wipes them
but they just keep falling ... I deserve
this , it's my fault anyways.

I heard footsteps and immediately
wiped my cheeks , I opened the tap
and splashed water on my face so
that it's not obvious that I was crying
"Jay?" ...ah fuck it's Jo , I looked at
him "ah..Hey" I said "here" he said
and handed me a handkerchief

"a-ah I-its fine" I said but he used it
and wiped my face, I stared at him
and started crying "I-Im so sorry...Jo
I'm s-sorry for hur-hurting you" I said
between sobs , he cupped my cheek
and wiped my tears "I still love you Jo"

"I do too...but I'm already married
to someone else's Jay...I'm sorry"

"it's fine , a-anyways let's go back?
I'm sure your wife and child is waiting
for you" I said and he nods

at home

I sighed and sat on the couch while
staring at the TV , I grabbed the
handkerchief from my pocket and
smiled "I'm sorry I still love you"
