After awile I smelled it : a burning of either paper or worst - flesh.

Help please, Emma. Don't do this to yourself or to mom and dad. They don't deserve it, I do, please save them, Em.

I heard my brother yell. It was surreal, but then I woke up. Olivia was on top of me trying to get me to wake up. "I-I'm sorry. I just came in here when I saw you weren't breathing. Fire memories?" Olivia asked.

"Yes."

"Honey, you do know that it's all over? Right? I mean, you survived and your family didn't. Get your head out of your a- I mean the gutter. Get your head out of the gutter." As she said this it started to remind me of someone.  A dark, mean, old woman. Aw forget it.

"That is so easy for you to say. You didn't go through it. Waking up in the middle of the night by firefighters trying to calm it down, and by one carrying you. YOU WILL NEVER FIGURE OUT HOW IT FEELS TO LOSE YOUR ONLY FRIEND." I stormed out, I couldn't take it anymore. Everyone says their own stupid opinion about it, but they know nothing.

I walked the streets, trying to find the one place I can always go. Finally, I saw it. I ran over to the red building and knocked on the door a few times.

Max opened the door, his hair was everywhere. I think he just woke up. "Hi," I started, "I need a place to stay. Please."

"Okay," he agreed during a yawn.

"Thank you."

"The Boys ain't gonna like it."

I knew he was right. "Oh well, I guess I can leave - in time," I smirked.
