When I woke up, I was sprawled out on the couch beside of Max. Max was cute I had to admit. He had long brown hair that he's always wanted cut, but I told him no. He wanted it cut because no girls liked him. That is except for one. After about a hour, Max woke up with the cutest smirk planted on his face. "Good morning Maxipoo."

"Hello, Emma dear. When did you wake up?" Max asked.

"I woke up two hours ago at ten. Oh, and it's twelve right now, just so you know."

"Oh, ok. What did you do for two hours?"

"Nothing really, I just watched you sleep."

"Uh, that's weird," He stated giving me a weird look.

"Well, you asked," I replied giving him the same look.

"Do you mind telling me why you showed  up last night?" He said, wanting to switch the subject.

"Oliva, she woke me up from a nightmare about the fire. Then she told me to get over it and then I went off on her and left that place of suffering and came here."

"Why do you always come here?" He asked wondering about what the answer would be.

"This is the only place I feel safe at, like I have a family. Anyway, anything new going on in your life?" I wanted to change the subject quickly, before he could ask anything else.

"Not really. I mean, I extremely like this girl, but I don't know if she likes me. Have you ever felt that way before?" He answered, sadness laced in his voice through and through.

"Yes, I have. So, tell me about this girl," I demanded.

"Maybe another time, but for right now you have to head back," he said this while getting up and lifting me up, yet a second  time. With that he made me go to the place that has stolen my childhood.
