Chapter 30: Contract

~Vega's PoV~

A few hours later I managed to pop the balloon but Naruto just made some progress. Jiraya complimented with me for my good progress.

"I've done it! The water is turning! It seems it's going to be easier than I thought to break it. Just like Vega did"

Yeah, I did it already!

"Then I'll go take a little rest until it's done... with this" Jiraya took out a booze bottle (I think).

"Hey! What is that?!" Naruto asked.

"I need to kill the time. And also to get some sleep"

"Huh! The way it's going, it won't even be an afternoon nap!"

"Is that so...? Call me when it's broken"

"Just wait! If it keeps up like this, I'll learn it within today!"

~Time skip~

It was evening. Naruto waked up Jiraya because he was complaining and yet yelling.

Jiraya told him that he will give more details about the jutsu when the balloon will be popped, but decided to give the blonde an advice anyways.

He asked Naruto to make the water rotate, but it didn't rotate properly. In fact, it was struggling to decide which direction to swirl.

To find out where the blonde has to rotate the water, Jiraya put his hand on top of Naruto's hair.

"Huh, I thought so... you are in fact a right rotation type. In order to build up chakra, it's necessary to blend the energy... so everybody unconsciously builds up chakra inside the body by rotating it. Whether the rotation at that point is to the right or to the left differs in the individual. Therefore, if you imagine the rotation of the water balloon opposite to that of your rotation type in this training, your chakra flow divides and resists and the momentum of the rotation does not get on track. You should be able to figure that kind of stuff on your own"

"This jutsu, I'll completely master it if I got three days!"

"Three days, huh? This jutsu is a ninjutsu that the Fourth hokage passed on to us. It took him three whole years to perfect this jutsu... this jutsu is second from the top on the six degrees of difficulty in mastering... it's an A rank super high level ninjutsu"

~Time skip~

Naruto trained for three days now, and we were eating breakfast. Jiraya complimented Naruto for clearing the first step, and he explained how he did it. Basically a cat helped him finding the way. I smiled to him.

After breakfast we headed outside again, to train on the second step.

"Okay. Now, we will proceed to the second step" a tired Jiraya said.

"Yeah! It seems like we can finally go into some serious training!" Naruto cheered.

"Here you go!" Jiraya threw us a rubber ball.

"Don't cheer so quick I'm guessing!" I said. He frowned.

"Rubber ball? Something like this again?!" Naruto made an annoyed face at the sensei.

"Now, you'll break this one!" Jiraya then proceeded to make the rubber ball explode.

"Woah" I said amazed.

"It's one hundred times harder than the water balloon!" He explained.

"It's hard" Naruto muttered.

"The first step is rotation, the second step is force. Since there is no water inside, it's more difficult to imagine the rotation of chakra, so it becomes more difficult to rotate the chakra as well" the sannin explained. "Well then, I'll go gather some information"

~Time skip~

Two days have passed and I managed to make the rubber ball explode.

"Jiraya sensei, can I ask you something?" I asked.

"What is it?"

"To make a contract with an animal you have to go into their place and sign the contract right?"

I've read in a book that if you perform the jutsu and you haven't got a contract, you end up in a place where the animal summons live, based on the affinity you have with them.

"Yeah, at least that's how I signed it, why?"

"I'd like to go and sign a contract too. Can I?"

I wanted to try the summoning jutsu and making a contract with an animal, since Naruto has one, why not me having one too?

"Alright, but be back soon, you never know when I find informations on Tsunade's position"

"Thanks Jiraya!"

I started weaving the proper handsigns.

"Boar, dog, bird, monkey, ram..."

A puff of smoke appeared and I found myself in another place. It was like a small village in a forest with snow covering it. It was also slightly cold.

"Dad! We've got another visitor" a voice said. It was a wolf, a puppy wolf, to be exact.

So my affinity is with wolves, huh?

"Oh, hello, you must be here to sign a contract I'm guessing. Okamizu, you can go home, I will talk with this ninja"

"Alright daddy" Okamizu dashed home.

"So, say little ninja, what's your name?" The daddy wolf said.

"I'm Vega, and you must be...?"

"I'm Okamio, leader of of this village, in Windrop Taiga" he wolf smiled. "Now, for the contract... you have to sign this scroll with your blood"

"Alright"

He opened the scroll, I bit my thumb, and signed in with my blood.

"Now that this is done, you don't mind training here for a few days?"

"I don't mind, why?"

"Now that you have a contract and since I'm sensing that you are a prodigy ninja, I want you to learn sage mode, and make friends with the wolves you can summon and my other student" Okamio explained.

"Sage mode?"

"Now, Sage Mode is an empowered state that can be entered by blending natural energy with one's chakra, creating senjutsu chakra, natural energy is a form of energy that exists in the atmosphere and the earth. By gathering the natural energy in their surroundings and combining it with their own chakra, sages are able to enter Sage Mode and use senjutsu"

"Understood!"

"Now let's go home, I will present him to you. Oh, and don't mind his attitude"

"Hai!"

With so we headed to Okamio's house and I saw his daughter Okamizu and another ninja, that was about my age, that was meditating.
