Farrah

My first college party... Now, what do I wear? Do I go classy? Sexy? Or casual? I decided to go with a casual option because that's what I've always worn to parties. I grabbed the outfit that I'd already planned out in my head: a green halter top, jeans, and a pair of boots. Sexy and simple, but not too over-the-top.

"Is that your outfit for the party?" Paige asked as I laid the clothes out on my bed.

"Yeah, is there something wrong with it?" I asked snarkily and waited for the passive-aggressive comments to come out. Are you sure you wanna show off that much...skin? That's a bit much, don't you think? Or my favorite: you don't wanna look like a slut, do you? Oh, the joys of growing up in an overly religious town.

"No, nothing's wrong. I was just asking," she said quickly as she ran a brush through her long golden-blonde hair. She was already dressed in a white crop top, a pink and white floral skirt, and a pair of white stiletto heels. She'd traded her glasses for contacts, bringing more attention to her eyes. "I like your outfit. It's cute."

I could see she genuinely wasn't judging me on my outfit, and I relaxed. "Thanks. I love your outfit too," I replied as I slipped into my closet to change. As I stepped out someone knocked at the door.

Paige opened the door, and Delia and Arizona stepped into the dorm, both of them wearing excited smiles.

"Oo, your outfit is so cute!" Delia exclaimed as she scanned me from head to toe.

Zona gave Delia a teasing grin. "Don't read into that too much, Farrah. She'll tell you that you're outfit's cute even if you're wearing a zebra-striped poncho."

"She's talking from experience," Paige teased, which earned her the finger from Arizona.

I laughed. "Aw, thanks. You guys look amazing too."

And they did look amazing. Arizona went for a crocheted boho top with a pair of skin-tight jeans, and she finished off the outfit with a pair of black boots and a black flat-brimmed hat. And Delia had on a wrap-style lavender dress that hit mid-thigh and showed off her curves really well, and she added a matching pair of lavender heels.

Delia blushed and looked down at her outfit. "You think it looks cute? It's not hugging my stomach or something?"

Paige gave Delia an encouraging smile. "Del, you look amazing! Stop worrying so much! This dress looks so cute on you."

Arizona added, "Yeah, that's why you dress to fit your body, De, and not just to cover it up." She gave Delia a thorough once over and snorted. "Believe me, if I was into women I would jump your bones now."

Delia laughed and gave her friends a smile. "Thanks, you guys. I can always count on you to be my personal hype men."

"Hype women," I corrected with a grin. "And what are friends for if you don't tell each other that they look smokin' hot all the time."

The three girls laughed and Paige looped her arm through mine. "Come on, ladies. We have a party to get to."

On the way to the party, Delia asked, "You think we should tell Farrah about the guys?"

"Yeah, we should at least warn her about Ry. Wouldn't want him to spook her," Arizona added.

I raised a brow. "Who's Ry? And why would I be spooked by him?"

Paige snorted. "Ry, is Ryker Bell, one of our other friends. He's an arrogant prick, who's insufferable if you ask me."

"He sounds...interesting. What about the other two? Benji and Aidan?" I asked, remembering that Paige told me about the guys previously.
