The Quarry And Some Strange Events

When Sev woke up she turned to face Beverly. She looked at her and smiled, but she noticed her hair was different. It was short like hers. But Sev's hair had grown out since the last time she got a fresh shave. So Bev's hair was about the length of Sevens, but just a bit longer.

"Beverly.." Sev said quietly while looking at Bev. "The Quarry." Seven spoke again

".... Seven.. It's.. too early.." Beverly said sleepily.

Sev played around with Bev's curls and smiled. Bev opened her eyes and smiled

"Your hair... What did you do?" Seven asked curiously. She liked Bev's hair, she was just confused on what she did to it.

"I.. I cut it last night. I didn't like having long hair. It got in the way.." she said looking at her and sitting up.

"My dad's probably still here. Depending on the time. We should go do something until it's time to go." Beverly got up and pulled out some under clothes from her drawer for Sev to wear.

"Here, put these on under your clothing." Bev said as she handed Seven the brassiere and underwear. Seven nodded and Beverly walked out to give Sev some privacy to get dressed. After a few minutes Seven was ready and walked out.

"We need to get ready. I'm gonna go freshen up." Beverly said as she walked to the bathroom.

"Just wait in my room" Bev said.

Seven turned around slowly and walked back into her room. She looked around. She looked at all the things on her walls and dressers. She walked over to her bed stand and looked at her books. She took one off and sat on the floor in front of her bed.

"Hm..." She hummed and laid the book down. She closed eyes for a moment and focused on the book. In almost an instant the book levitated into the air. She made it spin around with a few hand movements. She did this for a while until she saw Bev's head like in.

"Ah! Beverly.." She said as the book dropped to the ground and her nose began to bleed.

Bev's eyes widened. "Is that what it was... That's the ability I was talking about!" Beverly smiled and jumped up and down. "I was right! They really do experiments at that lab!!" Beverly smiled and walked over to Sev and leaned on one knee.

"We should show the others." Beverly said smiling.

"What if they think I'm.... I'm..." She shook her head. "They'll send me back to lab. I don't wanna go there again." Seven said.

"They won't, I promise.." Beverly said smiling.

"Promise?" Sev tilted her head.

"It means something you can't break." Beverly explained

"Promise." Seven repeated. She then smiled.

"Here." Beverly picked up a hair brush on her bed side table. "Can I brush your hair?" She asked. Seven nodded. Then Beverly began to brush out Sevens hair gently.

After a few minutes she stopped. "Done. Looks better." She smiled.

"Better." Seven ran her hand through her hair and smiled.
"Come on, we better go." Beverly said slipping on her shoes, Seven did this too. And they walked out of the room. They passed Bev's sleeping dad, who would be late for work if he didn't wake up. But Beverly didn't care. Neither did Sev.

"Where are we going again..?" Seven asked. As she got on the back of Beverly's bike.

"To the quarry to meet the others." She said as she started to pedal their way there.

"Ah... Right." She smiled.

"Who's going first..?" Bill asked.

Beverly looked at Seven and smirked. She took her dress off and Seven took her clothes off, only wearing her brassiere and underwear.

"We will!" Beverly said as both of them came running past the boys.

"What the fuck?!" Richie yelled as they all watched the two females jumped off the cliff

"Dude we just got show off by two girls!" Rich said to the others.

"Right, who's next?" Bill asked.

"Come on!" Beverly yelled.

Then suddenly Bill jumped down and so did the others.

They all played around for a while and swam. They tried knocking each other off someone elses shoulders and they even found a turtle. Seven played with them. When they found the turtle she was a bit scared of it. Not knowing what it was. She was fascinated by it. She was also fascinated by the water as well. It was clear and beautiful. She smiled at the thought of it.

Seven listened to the song they were playing on the stereo. She couldn't identify it but she liked it. Seven looked up at the boys who were staring at Beverly. Obviously Seven knew this was disrespectful.

"Ahem." She cleared her throat as sign that they were being rude

They took her hint and looked away quickly.

Beverly sat up and looked at Seven. She walked over to her and whispered to her

"Can I tell them about your powers?" She asked quietly, Seven nodded.

"Soo.. guys. I've been wanting to show you something.. it's really important." Beverly said suddenly, with a serious face.

"W-what is it Beverly?" Bill asked her.

"It's about Seven." Bev said looking at them then at Seven.

"We can't show you here... Somewhere else, where it's safe." Beverly said quietly.

"T-then let's g-go." Bill said standing up.

"My house? I've got some cool stuff I want to show you guys too." Ben suggested. The others nodded except for Eddie. But they still wanted to go. Then Beverly, Sev and the others got up and started to get dressed.

"So what is it that you wanted to show us Bev?" Eddie asked her.

"Like I said. It's about Sev. And it's.... crazy." Beverly said as they walked up the stairs behind Ben.

As they entered Ben's door, they looked around at all the posters and files hanging up.

"Wow..." Richie said.

"Cool huh?" Ben asked.

"No no, nothing cool, not cool at all." Rich said.

"S-so Bev. What did y-you want to show us a-a-about S-Se-Seven."  Beverly looked at Sev. Seven nodded.

"Do you have cup?" She asked. Ben nodded and went into his kitchen, he reached up and grabbed a blue coffee mug. Then he went back into his room and shut the door.

"Show us." Bill said.

Seven took the cup out of Ben's hand and set it on the floor. Then she stood steadily in front of it looking down.

"What is this..?" Rich asked interrupting.

"Shh!" Seven shushed him and focused back on cup.

After a few seconds the cup started levitating until it reached her face.

"What the fuck!" Eddie said

"..H-how is she doing that..?" Eddie stuttered as held his inhaler in his hand ready to take to a whiff of it.

They all looked at Sev. She Continued to stare at the floating cup, then she let drop to hard wood floor with a sickening crack.

They all stared at her and her nose began to bleed a bit.

"That's w-what you w-wanted to show us Bev...?" Bill asked.

"Yes..." Bev spoke quietly as she looked at the cracked cup.

"That's crazy... How did you do that." Stanley asked Seven, but she didn't say anything, she just looked at them one by one and wiped her nose.

"Y-your nose." Bill said as he watched Sev wipe it

"It bleeds. I know.." Sev said. She was already learning new words just by being with them, and hanging out with them.
