It was the first day of school after vacations and I had finally entered my fourth year.
I was sitting at the Slytherin table, right next to my closest best friend Sylvia Willow.
We both first met when we shared a compartment on our fist trip aboard The Hogwarts Express...on our first day ever to school
I still remember that day vividly,
Sylvia was shy, sweet and quiet, while I on the other hand was loud, crazy and an all round troublemaker 101
what can I say opposite poles really do attract.
As we sat there at the Slytherin table,
Sylvia was recalling all the adventures she had been through in belgium.
She and her family visit Belgium each year to stay in the fabled Willow mansion or as Sylvia calls it: The Willow family's joint mixing cauldron,
seeing that the only thing the Willow family genuinely cared about is the study and practice of potions
their family had a history of the finest pioneers and practitioners of the art of potioneering....if that is even a word.
but however Sylvia was going on and on about the different pranks she pulled on her family as they tried time and time again to convince her that potions is the only thing she should concentrate on....
you see that didn't go well with Sylvia as she didn't give a darn about potions and quite frankly stinks at it.
Sylvia's greatest ambition and the truest while we are at it is to be .....drum roll please.....
a Quidditch player, a chaser to be exact and mind you she is quite good at it
Heck she's amazing at it, but to her family she is nothing but a disgrace, a weak link in the chain, trying to break hundreds of years of tradition and pride.
And the only response Sylvia gives to this is,
"traditions? My arse."
She wasn't this rebellious before I met her sweet tender soul
Oh how I have corrupted her innocent spirit
but anyways back to me enough about Sylvia
I think I owe an introduction of myself.....well, Hi I'm Iohmra Yosh my friends call me yora (pronounced yo-ra)
and I'm a slytherin....
Ambitious, shrewd, cunning, clever, practical and power thirsty are all words that perfectly describe me and, as a cherry on top I come from the purest of blood lines:
'The Caedis line of stuck up gits and pricks' as my father calls it.
You see me and my father are not a least bit interested in the privileges of being a pureblood or its supremacy and mind you we have a good share of reasons for that.
We call it an absolute curse that's why my father completely cut us off from our "stuck up family of gits and pricks" and changed our last names to Yosh.
As Sylvia continued talking I saw a tiny light gleam from beneath my shirt
The necklace that was neatly tucked under my shirt had started glowing and the skin it touched against my chest grew awfully cold.
Sylvia gave me a known look and I smirked.
We both got up swiftly, finishing our dessert and walked out towards the exit of the Great Hall.
