18 hours later...

Adam looked at the report and looked up at the employees again. He shifted his eyes between familiar faces, and unfamiliar faces. Employees, and agents. He cleared his throat and put the files down. He hated to bare the breaking news, but it was unfortunately his job. A distasteful one, but a necessary one.

"May I have all your attention."

The meeting room became silent.

"Thank you." He shifted his weight on his other leg. "The police department are running an investigation. Apparently Erik Oliver, suspected of murdering James Jackson, was found dead this morning. And Robert Valeri is still missing."

Bonnie chewed on her gum slower than at first.

"Autopsy came in and the bullet wound which caused Oliver's demise was shot by none other than Robert Valeri. The department think that Oliver and Valeri were working together."

Robert Valeri, aka Robert Valeri Thorne, is a sociopath and son of the famous dream serial killer, Freddie Thorne. I'm sure you all know Freddie's killing methods. He killed people while they were asleep. He even used a drug he created that mentally tortured his victims using their dreams. His son was inspired by his father's work and tried to recreate it in a more...unique way. He has multiple records of theft, assault, and murder on his name. Hence the change of name."

Bonnie held up her hand, but put it down after not being called on, and spoke anyway. "But what does this all mean? How do they both connect?"

An agent interveined. "Good question Miss Long. We actually found the connection thanks to a woman Robert visited. A self proclaimed psyicic and part time nurse with a criminal record. She spilled all of the juice to us."

"And?"

"And she said Robert came in to talk about Erik. By the sound of it, he was chasing Erik. Going after him, claiming that he knew something that he shouldn't know. But that wasn't revealed."

"Where is Robert now?"

"We're still looking." The agent replied.

Robert adjusted the loose shades on his face and walked up to the airport with a bag in hand. He sped walked inside, looking around carefully. The police, by now, are searching for him. If he bought a ticket to Europe or some place else, they'll never catch up to him.

He was dozing off, which caused him to bump into somebody. As he did, he stumbled and looked up at the person. "Heh, sorry bout that. I'm a bit clumsy."

"Oh it's perfectly fine." An officer said as he picked up Robert's bag and gave it back to him. Robert kept an eye on the officer as he took his bag back.

"Thanks." He smiled with a nod and walked away.

"Wait a minute."

Robert stopped.

"You dropped your wallet."

Robert peered over his shoulder. If he had fear, he'd feel it right about now.

"Robert Valeri."

He exhaled the air he had inhaled and kept in his chest for a while. He turned to the officer and took his card. "Thank you very much."

"We're also going to be warning the border patrols, officers, and airports about Robert Valeri. It's going to take a while but I'm sure they'll act fast."

Robert had already bought his ticket. He was heading for France. It was about time he headed back home to his mother. Maybe he'll buy some roses, write a forgiveness card. She'll come to her senses and invite him back in. He knows.

"But if he boards..."

Robert nodded and smiled at the ramp agent.

"And takes off."

He took his seat after setting his things aside and looked out the window.

"That will mean trouble."

The security officer watched people walk around until his radio caught his attention. He answered it and listened.

"Attention all security. Runaway is loose. If you come across a man named Robert Thorne, Robert Valeri, immediately take him in. I repeat, if you see Robert Valeri. Immediately take him in.

The security officer's heart skipped a beat as he remembered him boarding a plane for France. He answered, "Officer Roger's here, I found Robert Valeri. He's on plane 32. Plane 32, I repeat."

Robert was almost gone. Just a little bit more and he'll be out of here.

"Are you Robert Valeri, sir?"

Robert looked up at a woman and nodded slowly. "Yes. How may I help you?" He responded. She looked over at a security guard next to her. Robert slumped his shoulders. "Damn."
