Calum fluff for Ash "The first 'I love you.'"

You were out with your boyfriend Calum. A day full of shopping, dinner, and now you are returning home to watch a movie. This night couldn't get anymore perfect. You walked into your flat you shared with Calum. You flopped onto the couch,switching the television on. "What's on tonight,Babe?" He asked you as he untied his sneakers. "Not a lot." You reply. You then saw your favorite show. Which was "Girl Code" "Oh my gosh Girl Code is on!" You say excitedly. Calum groans. "Oh shut up and get over here." He laughs, sitting next to you. You click the channel. You begin watching the show and Calum grabs a blanket and wraps it around the both of you. You smile and cuddle up to him. You'd been dating Calum for almost a year. You were worried he didn't feel the same way about you anymore. The episode was talking about "signs he's going to break up with you." Reason number one was "If he hasn't said I love you yet.". Your smile slowly sank as you looked down at the floor.
"Ashley, are you okay?" Calum asked you sweetly. You didn't respond. You just twiddled your thumbs. He obviously didn't get the hint you're dropping. "Do you care about me anymore, Cal?" You asked. He looked at you. "What are you talking about?" He asked you. You pointed at the tv. He grabbed the remote and turned it off. "You seriously believe that shit," he huffed. "Ashley. Are you waiting for me to say I love you?" You nodded. A tear slipped down your face. He swiped it away with his thumb. "Ash. I love you more than you will ever know." You looked up to meet his lovingly gaze. "You mean it?"
"I mean it."
You smiled as he pulled you into a sweet kiss. "I love you too, Calum." He hugged you as you two slowly drifted to sleep on the sofa. Cuddling up with one another.
