Vampire Hunter AU (Dean x Vampire reader)

Chapter 14

Once Y/n finished with her story to Dean he was quiet. Everybody looks at him wondering what he will say next and what he had in mind. They where all holding their breaths waiting for him to say anything.

Dean gets up to walk towards the mini fridge and opens it taking out a beer. He closes it and sit back down on the chair opening the can. He takes a sip ignoring everybody looks. He sigh and he seem to be battling an inner conflict with his thoughts.

Y/n hope he at least let her work with them so that maybe she can prove to him that she is trusted. It will be hard but she had to try. It was better to try then not try at all. She wanted him to see past that she's a vampire. She wasn't like the others. She hardly feeds on humans because she been one once and knew how it is to lose someone close to her so she avoids killing humans not wanting for his or her loved ones to grieve.

"Fine." Dean finally says. "But if you.." he looks directly at her (e/c) eyes making himself clear. "Start acting suspicious or seem as if you will betray us again. I'm killing you no matter how small it is."

She nodded her head wanting to prove to him she will do anything he says. The boys finally breathed out relieve that Dean was accepting this.

They all relax and went to sit down. Sam sat next to his brother and Gabriel and Cass sat next to Y/n. "Can we uncuff her?" Gabriel asks looking at Dean.

Dean gets up putting his beer on the table and walks towards her. Upon noticing the boys tensing up he stops, "relax. I'm going to uncuff her myself. That's all." he then walks towards her and took out the keys from his coat pocket.

He looks at her for a few seconds with an unreadable expression then his eyes went to the cuffs. He sets her free and she rubs her wrist since it started to get red with how tight it was. He gets the cuffs and walks away to his seat ignoring once again everybody stares.

Y/n remain in her spot not sure if she should get up and stretch or even go to the bathroom. Gabriel sits next to her and grabs her wrist and message it himself. She looks at him surprised not expecting this from a hunter and he just shrugs.

"I trust you." he says to her with a smile and she smile back at him thanking him silently. "Dean is just being well Dean."

"Alright how about you start talking where the vampire hides and everything you know." Dean says to her.

"Well.. I have-" she stops when her phone went off. She froze wondering if she should ignored it or answer it.

"Who is it?" Dean asks. She takes her phone out and looks at him. "Isaac. I have to answer."

"Put it on speaker. And I want everybody silent." Dean orders and nodded at her to answer her phone.

She answers and put it on speaker as the males where quiet. She was nervous but kept her calm so that Isaac wouldn't know something is up.

"Isaac." she sigh hating him even more. She hears him chuckling in the background then finally said something.

"Well hello Y/n. How are things going with those hunters? You know. I'm running out of patience darling. The rest of the vampires wants to come out of hiding already. They are getting impatient. So hurry up."

"I'm trying okay." she responded how she usually responds to him. "You need to be patient if I'm going to do it right."

"Yeah whatever. Look... Do you need help? I can send the rouge vampires out to hunt down."

"No it's fine. I have a plan so.."

"Excellent!" he exclaims. Y/n looks at the boys for a moment seeing them quietly as they listen to the leader of the vampires. She locks eyes with Dean noticing he had been staring at her. She looks back down on her phone ignoring him. "Michael here says hi anyways. He is very annoyed right now and it's fun to watch him get irritated but oh well."

"Hello Y/n." she hears the voice of Kathleen the one that started all this. Y/n wished to go to her and kill her herself. She was tired of Kath and she was a pain in the butt. She hated her. "You are on speaker right now and I got to say I can't believe you stayed with those hunters more then one day. But I have a better idea since you are taking to long. We want to help you." Y/n didn't like the sound of that and started to get worried.

She knew where this was going. "And I need you to send the Winchesters to us. Take them to your home. We will ambush them as soon as you arrive. Okay? I want you to take them now. Right now. So bye bye." with that she hang up.

"They don't know about Gabriel and Cass." she pointed out.

"Well. Then Gabriel and Cass aren't going." Dean says. "And if we do get trap then you guys will show up and kill as many vampires as you can. Got it? Okay we are going."

Nobody said a word and got ready to go. Gabriel and Cass will stay behind and the three will go to the impala and get over there. Y/n was nervous thinking of what can happen. She knew there will be a lot of vampires and not just five or six maybe ten.

They always send tons of vampires whenever it's a very skill hunter. This was the Winchester she is talking about. They will make sure to trap them then killed them. She didn't want them to go because they will succeed and they will die. She didn't like to think about it but she got to prepare herself for the worst.

The drive to the impala was silent except her giving Dean directions to the cottage. She was getting anxious as they got closer. "There will be many of them." she warns.

"Don't worry about it. We will handle them." Dean says and she knew he wasn't very confident but was acting tough. She leans back against the seat looking out the window watching the trees passed by in a blur.

They where getting closer and she began to be worried. She cared about the two brothers and didn't want anything to happen to them. They go they will die.

She was tempting to do say something and felt her heart start to increase. She kept fidgeting in the back seat which the boys noticed. Sam was the one that talked to her. "Every thing will be fine."

"There will be a lot. There is no way you guys will make it." she says. "How about turn around and thing of something else." she lock eyes with Dean trough the review mirror.

"No. We are going down fighting." Dean says and looks out the road. "Plus you are going to help us right?" he questions.

"Yes." she nodded her head. "Like I said. I don't want to kill you nor your brother or your friends. Not anymore." she admits. He just scoffs but didn't say anything. "And I'm going to prove to you Dean. Because I care and ah.. I like you." she confesses.

She looks out the window wanting to disappear because he doesn't like her anymore but hates her. It hurt but there was nothing she can do but prove him that she changed her mind of murdering him. If he doesn't realised it then she can't do anything about it. She can't force him to like her or trust her.

Dean didn't say anything and just remained silent deep in thought. Sam decided to say something just in case something happens. "Well if anything happens I like to say-"

"No Sam. Don't start with the goodbye speech. We are going to win." Dean says assure of himself. All Y/n can do was pray and hope for some miracle to happen and for them to somehow win.
