Vampire Hunter AU (Dean x Vampire reader)

Chapter 4

Y/n was nervous as hell and her palms where sweating. She took deep breaths wanting to relax but as soon as she got closer to what was happening it got her more anxious.

She hides herself behind the trees and waited for the opportunity to strike. She watch them fighting two vampires. She recognised them being the ones out of control. They where lock on a cage and probably Isaac set them free to help her out a bit.

The tall vampire with a beer manage to grab Dean and throw him to the tree behind him knocking him out. Her eyes went to the other one seeing his brother being tackled down. Y/n took deep breaths and decided to step in. She takes out the machete Isaac gave to her not to long ago.

She immediately ran to the vampire going straight to Dean. "Hey!" she yells at it making him turn around to face her hissing. She then chop his head off not wasting another second to help Sam. She grabs the vampire from behind and yanked him away. She threw him to the floor trying not to use her strength since she was a vampire and they where quite strong.

She kicked him in his stomach when he runs to her and chop his head off. She was left breathless and looks at Sam was with his brother already helping him up. "Thanks." Sam says to her getting up.

She smiles at him not knowing how to keep a conversation going. She looks at Dean who was just waking up and adjusting and looks at her. It took him a second to recognized her and look stunned. "You are a hunter?"

"Yep. I didn't know you where one either." she fake surprised.

"Wait you two meet already?" Sam questions which his brother nodded his head.

"I'm Y/n by the way." she introduced herself. Sam shakes her hand saying his name which she already knew but acted as if she didn't.

"Nice meeting you Sam. Is this your brother?" she questions to Dean who nodded noticing he haven't left his eyes from her.

"Yep. How about we go eat somewhere." Dean suggested and she just nodded as Sam said, "okay."

She follows them until they got to the impala. Dean goes behind the trunk and opens it and puts his machete in place Sam doing the same. "You want me to hold that for you?" Dean asks. She nodded and handed her the weapon.

During the drive she was quiet scared that she will say something and will expose her plans. She knew this was to risky and dangerous but had to do it for her friend. "Are you okay back there?" Dean asks watching her through the review mirror for a second.

"Yeah I'm fine." she says.

Sam looks over his shoulders to look at her. She cursed mentally hoping he will not say anything but he did. "You seem nervous. Are you okay?"

She felt both brothers glance at her. She was tempting to jump out the car and run from them but she didn't. She looks at Sam smiling at him and tried to come up with a lie. "Ah...I am actually am because this is my first time since a very long time ago. It's been a while and I only hunt vampires who are in my hometown that's it."

"Everything is going to be fine." Sam assures her. "How about after we eat we can drop you off home and let us handle it."

"No!" she says to quickly which was a mistake since Sam narrowed his eyes at her.  "I mean. No. I want to do this. I hate vampires because they killed my parents." she thought of how she was the one that killed them because of Isaac and made her angry. 

"I'm sorry about that." Sam says as she looks out the window wanting to talk about something else. She didn't want to recall what happened a long time ago.

"How about you stay with us so we can work together to hunt down every son of a bitch." Dean suggested which this was what she was waiting for. The plan was going smooth but she didn't want to jinx it.

"I like that." she smiles at him then look out the window again pressing her head against the glass. Everything was going as plan and she liked it so far.

They bought her story which was true but didn't say what vampire killed them. Which was her. So far they where trusting her thinking she was human.

The problem is she was going to have to eat human food. Who knows how long she can stay without drinking blood. She can get out of control then they will know and killed her. Or she will continue to be hungry until it gets painful and they will start getting suspicious and find out.

She was thankful she drank bag blood that Isaac gave to her. She was going to have to do this quick but at the same time be patient and strike at the right time.

Once they arrived at a diner she follows them and sat across from Sam and surprisingly Dean sat next to her to close for her liking. She noticed his brother rolling his eyes. "Give her some space Dean." he scolded.

Dean smirks and wrap an arm around her shoulder pulling her close to him looking down at her. "She don't mind. Right sweetheart?"

She looks up at him locking eyes with his green ones feeling mesmerized by them. She never been this close to him and he was handsome. He had spiky sandy blond hair and freckles around his nose and cheeks. At some point she had question as to why do beautiful people have freckles.

She seen a girl with some and she was beautiful then a man as well when she was in california and he was beautiful too. Even the people on tv that had that where beautiful.

Sam cleared his throat interrupting their short moment as soon as a waitress came to take their orders. Dean orders whiskey and a burger which Y/n was tempting to say she wasn't hungry but Dean had look at her saying, "don't tell me you ate already."

She opens her mouth to say something but he beats her to it telling the waitress she wants the same thing like him. Sam order a salad and water which Dean scoffs at him.

"Sammy and his rabbit food." he mumbles.

Sam ignored him and decided to have a conversation with Y/n wanting to know her better. "So tell me... Do you hunt alone or with a partner or a group?"

"Alone." she answers.

"You know hunting alone is to dangerous." Dean says which in her mind she said they where dangerous to her. "Why not work with someone?"

"Because I don't have anybody else. And it seem as if I'm the only hunter here." she lies. She knew starting with lies was a terrible mistake. It's not like they where going to find out right? If they did then she can kiss the world goodbye.

"You know. I think you should stop being a hunter and live a normal life. Let other hunters take over." Dean advices. "Or we can find you a partner or come with us a hunt down vampires because it's to dangerous to have a double life. Vampires will find out about your loved ones then they will be killed right in front of your eyes. You don't want that to happen right?"

"No." she felt as if she was being scolded for working alone and forcing her to chose what to pick.

"For now let's not worry about that and help us out. Then you can choose."

"You are serious?" she looks at him to see if he was serious and he was. "Do you usually meet lone hunters and made them choose as if you where in charge?"

"I am just trying to help you." he defended himself. "Just saying. I'm sorry."

"Its fine. I forgive you." she says and was glad the food arrived. The three of them ate silently not saying a word to busy enjoying the food.
