"Still, you cannot do that!" I slapped Luka.
"But I love him," he complained. It's been only 4 months since they've started dating.
"You may love him, but marrying him is too far, you guys haven't even said if you loved each other," I told him. I saw sadness in his eyes as he furrowed his brows. He looked towards the ground.
"Hey guys," I saw Alya walking towards us with her hands wrapped around Nino's. I looked towards Nino and saw him looking at Alya when she was talking, he had love in his eyes. "What are you guys doing here?" I saw that we were at a park, a children's park.
"I've been trying to convince Luka not to propose to Adrien, they've been dating only for a few months," I shrugged.
"I suggest you guys leave town for a bit, leave Adrien here and go and figure out what Luka wants to do. Having some time away from Adrien would help Luka figure out what he wants," Nino suggested.
I looked towards Luka and saw pain in his eyes while he was staring at the floor. I shook my head. "No, they spend enough time away from each other." I grabbed his arm and dragged him away. "Bye, guys!" I exclaimed, speaking for Luka and I.
"Maybe they're right, maybe I need to be away from Adrien for a while," he shrugged.
I shook my head, furiously. "You guys barely talk every week, that's not fair! Besides, you'd have to speak to Adrien's father about marrying him," I dragged Luka towards an ice cream shop.
After we got our ice cream and sat down, he said, "do you have anyone you like?" I looked towards the table and tried to contain the deep blush I had. "Who is it?" He leaned closer towards me. I shook my head.
"I don't h-have a crush," I stuttered. Luka simply nodded and continued to talk about how much he loved Adrien.
"He's amazing. I love the way he talks, or when he makes fun of someone, but right when he sees them feel bad, he'll just take it back and feel so bad. I love the way he makes friends, how-" I blocked out his words.
I rested my head on my wrist as I stared out the window. I saw her. I felt my face heat up as I saw her scream at Sabrina. Everyone thinks I hate her, but I don't. I love her. She stomped her feet onto the ground and flipped her ponytail. Her fists turned white. She crossed her arms and looked around. When our eyes locked, she looked like she wanted to throw up and rolled her eyes. I furrowed my brows and felt a pang in my heart.
"Marinette?" Luka's calming voice broke me from my trance. I looked towards him. From the look on his face, it seemed as if I looked sad. "It's okay," he said, hopping off of his stool, walking to hug me. I wrapped my arms around him and felt a tear fall down. His arms tighten around me as he sighs. "Chloe?" he asked as I nodded.
After a bit, I pushed away from him and threw my ice cream away. "Are you okay now?" He asked as we walked out of the store. I forced a smile and nodded as we walked.
"Besides, we have to talk about how you plan on telling Adrien's dad," I smiled, feeling excited.
"I have everything planned, but we just have to convince Adrien to allow his father to know about me," he shrugged. I grabbed his phone from his pocket. I knew his password so I quickly typed it in. "Hey, give it back," he said calmly. I ignored him as I called Adrien.
"Hello?" I heard water in the background.
"What're you doing?" I asked him.
"I'm making a bath, and is that Marinette?" I ignored him.
"Okay, so Luka and I wanted to make you come out to your father, is that okay?" I asked in a hurry. I saw Luka hold a calm face, but I saw in his eyes was anger.
"Um.. Luka wants me to tell him?" He asked. As soon as he said that, Luka snatched the phone out of my hands. I was about to say something until I saw his face.
"No, you don't have to tell him if you don't want to. Marinette is feeling a bit rebellious today, don't do anything you're not comfortable with," he said in one breath. I shivered from his voice. Adrien didn't say anything.
"I gotta go..." he mumbled into the phone. "Bye, I don't want to miss my bath," he hung up before either of us could say bye.
"Marinette, don't do that again!" He shouted at me. I looked towards the ground. It is my fault, I shouldn't intervene. "Sorry I snapped, I just don't want Adrien to feel guilty for his father not knowing. I don't want him to do something he'd regret."
I didn't answer him. "I got to go, bye," he sighed as he walked away. I looked at him walking away. He turned his head back slightly, our eyes met each other as he turned away and continued to walk.
I started to walk in the opposite direction of him. I didn't look up the whole time I was walking home, which was about two hours. I greeted my parents when I got home and went up to my bedroom.
I started on my math homework and stared at the math problem for hours. I looked towards the time and saw it was midnight. My phone started to vibrate.
"Marinette," I heard sobs. I heard cars driving. He was outside, but why so late?
