Lydia's POV
The date.
I paced in the basement and Taylor just watched me with interest while she ate the left overs.
"Why running around?"
"I need to impress a girl who has it all." I mumbled to myself so that Taylor wouldn't hear what I was saying. I mean how does an individual that never had a rich car or enough money treat a girl that had it all with a snap of her finger. I knew that what we were doing was dangerous and so did Stephanie but I was curious.
I did want to be with someone anyway plus I most certainly didn't like the fact that I had to always mourn over Pearl. I still couldn't tell Pearl about Stephanie though because it might effect our relationship in a way...a relationship that is slowly becaming history in the mist of flowers. One sided love is painful and am not some thirt wheel nor am I looking forward to actually share a person.
I signed miserably before pinching the bridge of my nose, and sitting down next to Taylor who slightly tilted her head while countinusly eating.
"No reason." I finally muttered "Anything interesting happen?"
"Well, Daniel still here... Kieran pissed, Steven and Stephanie going to school game--"
"Wait!... when?" I asked as I sat up straight and Taylor only responded with raised eyebrows which made me think of a lie instantly "I mean with all...ah, I am just curious."
"Ohhhh begin at um four."
"So what you planning on doing?"
"Shower." With that she stood up and left with her plate and I just shook my head before praying to the ancestors that don't even exist. Pearl should be at school so that means her room was available for me to access. I walked out the bedroom in speed also in hopes of not meeting Daniel because he seemed to be staying though I noticed how his mood was kinda down yesterday when I served the Kane's dinner, Daniel didn't bother sitting at the head of the table which made all the kids to narrow their eyes but he ignored them, ate his food and without a word.... He left.
Luckily I didn't meet him and as suspected Pearl's room was open and I entered before charging my phone, enjoyed a hot bath and found myself a hot outfit but had to hide it in a plastic. I took a towel and left to set for my date with Stephanie, I could only hope that the girl that had it all could have enjoy it.
At four I was already at Creakory high's while I sat with a few people around me with my eyes scanning the football boys who just entered and where currently raising their hands in the air while shouting at nothing in particular. I just frowned while people cheered while i waited until the game started, I Hope what Taylor said was actually true and wasn't some sort of a lie and it wasn't because my eye caught the cheerleaders and Stephanie was there, glowing under the sun with her cheerleader skirt above her knee cap and her hair in a ponytail. Their dance was very creative and I don't think I could enjoy being tossed in the air like a bread of toast.
I did love and enjoy how she smiled and shaked her body with spirit, the game countinued but I just kept my eyes on Stephanie while Loving how her eyes got a more black hue, her hair slightly moving and her legs that moved sharply and lips that muttered words of cheer and great spirit. I hated any sports but is not like I was there for sports anyway but I did catch the celebritory cheers that had Creakory celebrating like crooks that successfully stole from a president.
I guess that means they won.
I managed to squeeze through the crowd and successfully hid in the hallway so that I could catch see Stephanie when she was done. I suppose I did the right thing because I heared noise.
"We did it!"
"Duh!"
"We rock girls, now let's go to our lockers before celebrating.!"
"Wait!, I forgot something."
I knew that was Stephanie so I waited until she came into view and she all but widened her eyes when she saw me. I smiled slowly and walked to her hoping that my dress code was fine. I had light make up and jeans along with a biker jacket and sneakers. I don't even know anything fancy for sports anyway.
"Hey." I mumbled when I reached her and now that I could see her clearly, she was kinda sweaty.
"What are you doing here?"
"Well, my Queen." I teased and watched as she smiled "I Decided to just come see you perform, your cheerleading."
"Omg, really?"
"Yeah. Come on forget the lockers, we need to go somewhere."
Stephanie looked disturbed because she bit her lip and said '' but am sweating."
"I know." I said before grabbing her hand and was shocked when she didn't fight back or bicker about the current issue. I signed mentally before leading her out of the School and now that she was near, I noticed how short her skirt was along with the crop top that showed off pale skin. The moon that was starting to show because I sat there for three hours and it was now seven and it was getting dark.
"You don't mind walking?" I asked.
"If it isn't too far." Stephanie said making me nod in understanding.
I led her to somewhere idiotic which was in the Creakory park, I had set up a lunch and was glad when it was still looking good and perfect. I led her there while silently praying that she liked it. A picnic under the moon was not something everyone found the pleasure of enjoying.
"Well.... suprise." I mumbled before letting her hand go and she all but gasped before sitting down and patting the space next to her, she even ignored her phone ringing which was good. I removed the cloth I placed on the meal, I was even highly sure that hobos would cause drama but I guess nobody saw it. It was far away from people who visit the park and a view of creak was before us. I was even suprised when she allowed me to take her into the deeper part of the park but I was grateful.
The food which was simply spaghetti and meatballs along with barbecue sauce and tuna. I didn't need to prepare much. Stephanie turned to look at me from beside me.
"It's perfect." She mumbled shyly "thank you."
"I need to explain," I said "I didn't mean to leave you after the pleasure."
"You really shouldn't have." She signed before realising her rubber band "I swear I want to slap you for that."
"I know I was jerk. It's just that you ordered me--"
"Oh gosh."
I chuckled at her words of choice.
"It doesn't matter much because well you're here. I sorta attended that party and slept with you again."
Stephanie's eyes widened "so that's why I woke up in my room, ain't you a naughty slave."
"I suppose I was."
"This is dangerous." Stephanie breathed out "we'll lay on the down-low."
"Why are you even trying to be with me?" I questioned.
"We had sex, we are part of each other now." Stephanie said "thanks for coming to see me, my family doesn't even do that."
"They're Kane's."
"Duhhh, I know that." Stephanie deadpanned "anyway how did you set it up, I never noticed this part of the park it's beautiful."
I smirked.
"Well let me tell you."
"Spill." Stephanie demanded and I laughed. I guess she's impressed.
