"C-can you-u he-ar me?"

Her eyes snapped open at the sound of a staticky voice. She was surrounded by darkness...
An invisible weight was pinning her down. She tried to push herself up, but the weight was just too much for her. She thudded back down, faintly seeing sand particles came up and around her from suddenly falling back down. Her vision slowly came to her, noticing that she was laying face down on a sandy floor.

She tried to get free from the weight holding her down again, this time kicking her feet to swim and after hearing an ear screaming scrape, she was free.
She hurriedly swam away, turning around to see that a giant crane had trapped her under it's weight.

Upon further inspection, she noticed something sticking out from under the crane...

A similar brown glove with a circular marking and a line going straight through it.
Upon glancing at her own left hand held the same exact symbol on her glove.
Without dwelling on it, she swam around taking scope of the new area.
Noticing that there was more construction machinery in the half built cavern, it looked like people tried to make this cavern a new hallway.
She swam over to a man made wall and metal door. She tried to push it open, but wouldn't budge.

She swam around the crane some more, finding a door on the side of it. She tugged on the rusted handle and the cranes door flew open. On the leather seat sat a plasmid.
A telekinesis plasmid.

Her hand trembled as she grabbed the plasmid,  an unnerving familiar feeling came over her. she used this before...

She stared down at this plasmid, then she looked over at the metal door...
Quickly looking back down at the plasmid, she pulled open the glass bottle and jammed her syringe into it, watching the purple liquid start to fill it. Once her syringe was completely full, without a second thought she them stabbed it into her arm.

A sickening sound of a crack came from her wrist, breaking as it snapped backwards. Her veins began to burn as the plasmid started to pump through her body. Her head started to pound, the last thing she remembered hearing before everything went black was a sharp ringing in her ears...

She snapped her eyes open again,
she was standing in a metal hallway... By her side was a little girl, with a dirty purple dress that had a big white bow that tied in the back, and a similar yet smaller bow that tied her long brown hair into a ratty ponytail...
Memories of the baby within the nursery began to flash in her mind...
the yells of splicers could be heard behind her...
Yet she picked the baby up and out of the crib...
Though she was now more concerned with what was in front of her within the metal hallway...
She was yelling... screaming...
at someone...

at a monster...

She stared into its crimson glowing eye as it stalked her from within the shadows...

"S-s-sub-ject Z-zer-o? C-can y-y-you he-re me?"

The staticky voice cackled again, her eyes snapping open once more.

"Sa-ve P-Pen-elope."

Penelope...
Her thoughts immediately went to the little sister in the metal hallway...
She squinted her eyes in pain as memories came flooding back... the nursery...
the baby girl...

She had to get out of there.

Snapping out of her trance, she quickly swam over to the metal door and looked at it intently.

She raised her hand and the plasmid ran through her veins, the metal door letting out a low groan as it begun to forcefully be pulled forward. Large cracks began to rip through the cavern's, going dangerously unnoticed. Letting out a vigorous scream, she then pulled the metal door completely off its hinges.

With a loud thud of the door hitting the cavern floor,
she whipped her head around, watching the walls of the cavern viciously crack and begin to cave in. She watched as the constitution equipment was quickly buried as the half built hallway began to collapse.

She bolted through the metal door frame, swimming as fast as she could through the cavern's tunnel.

Once she just barely made it outside the cavern, a huge explosion of rock and sand was heard, the ocean floor shook as the cavern that surrounded the half built hallway completely collapsed on itself.
The reef's rocks broke apart and fell straight into its adjoin hallway, shattering the glass and steel foundation, water quickly filling up the hallway and drowning the poor civilians within.

She glanced back at the collapsed cavern and onto the once pristine, now destroyed hallway... And she kicked herself upwards.

She was free.

Without a second thought, she began to quickly swim away. Passing by buildings that were standing on their last leg. Bright flashes of explosions, occasional flash of sparks from haywire wires.
Her metallic shadow dance along the sands of the ocean floor and the long flowing seaweed growing all through out the city.
she perched herself on a reef's edge, just below her shined the bright heart of the city.
The feminine voice came over her helmet once again,

"Ah, you're alive, Good. I feared that you may have been... No longer."

The voice said with a pause,

"Now listen please, I know that you may be a bit disoriented at the moment, but you don't have much time. The little sister you bonded with all those years ago, she's in danger."

She titled her head at the voice. How did she know of the little one she bonded with?
Who was this...?

"She's in the Enlightened One's Temple. The people once good, caring citizens are now twisted with corrupted faith and addiction. You have to go save the little one. You have to save Penelope."

With a turn of her head, towards the bright lights below, shined the Enlightened One's Temple.
Chanting is heard throughout the people seated in the rows of pews.
Small cries of a child go unheard as the chanting of the crowd grows louder into hungry yells for ADAM.
