A nightmare of a dream

Jessica's POV

I woke up on the sofa with the TV still playing. "Teleshopping... what a waste of time" I press the start button on the remote control to see the time. 7:30am. "I think I'm starting to get my sleeping pattern back"

I switched off the TV and walk off into the bedroom which I had failed to sleep in last night. I went to the dressers and got out printed t-shirt dress, the black and white long sleeved costume and some underwear.

I picking up my phone from the bed and went into the bathroom.

I sat on the toilet and looked at my phone and saw I had a message on Facebook from Rachel (I can't remember the friends name from the start) i unlocked my phone and the message  from Harrison last night popped up. That's when it hit and I remembered... I kissed Harrison. The butterflies from the previous night returned into my stomach. "Training tonight with Harrison I should probably got into town to the shops"

I quickly looked at the message from Rachel.

Hey b,

How are you! I miss you so much already! How's Australia? Have you done you test yet? Made friends? I'm sure you have you always do...

Soooo Gareth turned up to work yesterday looking for you... he asked me where you were. I told him you'd moved.

Rachel really does know how to ask questions. Oh crap ... Gareth? He can't be back again can he? I remembered all the trouble I'd had back home after I rescued him. Well he was faking drowning but I didn't know that.

Yeah I'm great and I miss you more than anything. Come visit soon??

I've done swimming and completed it I just over 8 minutes. Everyone is so welcoming.

Gareth... he clearly doesn't care about his restraining order. I'm glad you didn't tell him where I was.

I double tapped my home button and closed my apps. Clicked on my Amazon music account  and scrolled through my songs and decided just go click shuffle. Linked my phone to my speaker and jumped into the shower. Liar by Camila Cabello came on.

I washed my body and just let the water wash the salt out of my hair there was no shampoo left. My hair was going to get salty again later anyway. 

I mentally y added shampoo to my shopping list.

I hopped out of the shower dried myself off and out in my dress and underwear. Carrying the swimming costume back through into my room. " I don't need that yet"

I did my makeup and left my hair down to dry naturally. Collected phone from speaker and went to get some food from the fridge , I was starving.

I opened the fridge to unveil nothing not even milk ... I guess I'd need food as well. I grabbed a cereal bar from the counter and picked up my purse. I walked toward the door picked up my keys from the table and shut the door behind me.

When I got outside I stood there for a few seconds until my eyes had adjusted. "Wow it's bright" I said out loud to myself. 

"Yeah it's called the sun" a friendly voice chuckled.

I span around to see Ellis my next door neighbour. I laughed "I guess I need to start getting used to it"

He nodded and smiled. "I'll see ya around neighbour"

I started off towards the town. Thinking about last night.
