As the difficult days went by, you started
to feel better again. You took your
time to recharge your dead batteries, and
it was fine. I would've waited months,
even years to see you genuinely happy
again.
Your smile didn't feel forced, you told me
that your body was full of energy, that
your heart was excitingly beating like it has
never done in your whole life.
Seeing you so happy made my heartbeat
race so much, as if I was going to feel
