Beam's POV

I still could clearly see the smile that Forth gave me before going back to his normal university life. His smile that just seemed so genuinely sweet with just the right touch of brightness that unexpectedly warm my whole being. I couldn't stop smiling as I think about that small half-moon directed to me.

Girl "Doc....Doc.....Doctor Beam!"

I snapped out of my thought and slowly remembered that a student is waiting for treatment; she looked at me with wondered eyes. I slapped myself in my head to stay focus. It was barely one hour since I broke up with my girlfriend and I don't seem to be much affected by it to be honest. I was mentally prepared and I think it was for the best: I didn't feel in love.

*Knock knock*

Beam: come in

Dr Prachaya: Hi

His handsome face sparkle as he gave me a gentle and happy smile. No wonder that he is famous on campus.

Beam: Hello Dr Prachaya

Dr Prachaya: Just wondering if you have been able to settle properly and if you need anything

Beam: I have. Thank you very much Dr Prachaya

Dr Prachaya: stop with that overly formalities. Just call me Singto

Dr Prachaya was kind and very friendly. If I was a girl, I would surely fall for him.

Beam: Okay P'Singto

He laughed because I still couldn't let go of the politeness.

P'Singto: You are so cute

He lifted his right hand up to my face and pinched my cheek.

Beam: P' what are you doing?

P'Singto: You are being too cute, I'm trying to take away some cuteness.

He laughed and let go of my cheek.

*Knock*

A student appeared at the door and hesitated to come in.

P' Singto: Come in

He said to the student and turned back to face me

P'Singto: I will come another time. You are busy. Have a nice day.

He said before leaving.

As always, at lunch time, I decided to take some fresh air and stretch my legs at the same time. The canteen was packed and there seemed to be a commotion in the middle. I sneakily went through the students to see what was happening. To my horror, it was Forth with the whole hazing team sitting by a table with a standing boy, looked like a fresher, shaking in front of the group.

Forth "Shout in front of everyone 'I like boy' three times and ask ten guys to be your boyfriend'

I could see P'Singto a bit afar with a smile on his face, doing nothing to stop that. How can he just watch and do nothing?!

The boy replied in a nearly unaudited and crackling voice "I.."

Forth "What?! We can't hear you"

Forth stood up, looked at the student with a fierce look and pushed his shoulder with his two fingers.

Forth "With this attitude you think you will be able to get 1000 signatures?!"

The boy's eyes glimmered with watery tears and I felt as if he was about to crumble into tears. I walked to them, grabbed that boy's wrist and pulled him behind me.I was now sandwiched between the two and it didn't bother me much. I scowled at Forth and he seemed quite shocked by my sudden intervention.
