Beam's POV

After this first day I didn't know how I could control my raging emotions. I hated forth at first sight his carefree attitude, he was abusing his power. Thankfully I would be with my girlfriend Chompoo for the rest of the semester. I entered the campus and saw her briefly holding someone's arm; must have been my imagination, right? Maybe it was just a friendly touch, she wouldn't cheat on me, would she? I couldn't see who it was as he was giving me back but from the action, I could tell that he was from the engineering faculty and that he pushed Chompoo off quickly. That person went away leaving her behind. She stayed there a bit annoyed and as soon as she saw me, she ran up to me and greeted me with a kiss on the cheek.

Chompoo: Beam what are you doing here?

Beam: I am assigned as an assistant doctor for the engineering faculty for the rest of the semester. What about you?

Chompoo: I volunteered since I used to be in the faculty of medicine, I thought I could help.

Beam: That's great we will see each other quite often then

At that she didn't seem pleased but maybe it was just my imagination after all we weren't in the same faculty anymore it must be harder in her than on me. She introduced me to the rest of the medical crew.

I was talking to some of the medical crew who came to ask me some questions and as I was about to reply, the infamous head hazer Forth made his apparition and of course the girls, who came to question me, were swooning and the boys showed nothing but respect to their leader. Was I the only one bothered by his presence? I just can't stand him he is so full of himself! Thankfully Nong Chompoo waved to me some meters away. she was talking to another guy but at least they weren't touching maybe I was paranoid.

A group of girls were talking while passing right next to me.

Girl 1: Chompoo is such a b*tch

I was about to shout at them but stopped when another girl said.

Girl 2: I heard she has a boyfriend but she has been hitting on both Forth and Green. Look at her being so cute in front of Green there.

Girl 3: yeah right

They then went away. I was so furious about hearing all kind of things. But I didn't trust any of what they are saying. Maybe they are just jealous of her. I will try to talk to her later about it.

After few minutes of Q&A I turned around to look at Chompoo, but she was not there. I looked everywhere and saw her behind a pillar. I walked to her. As I approached, I was close enough to hear her talk to someone and what I heard sent shivers down my spine

Chompoo: Forth, are you still not interested?

Forth: No and beside I heard you have a boyfriend.

Chompoo: But what he doesn't know can't hurt him.

Forth: But I would know.

I looked straight at Forth; he immediately stopped and looked at me. She turned around, I was there to greet her not that I wanted to be nice after so long I thought we had a good relationship now I wonder how many times she has said this sentence, to how many men? Did she cheat on me? Gosh my life's a mess and I can't blame Forth for it since he turned her down right away.

I guess we have some talking to do.

Chompoo: Beam dear when did you arrive?

She looked at me a bit frustrated; not knowing what to do.
