David's pov

I could tell that Natalie was still a bit sad after her breakup, even though she chose not to show it. I didn't really have a plan when I first told her that we were going out. I just hoped I would come up with something.

"David where are we going?" She sighed once she closed the Tesla door behind her. I just glanced over at her and smirked. "You'll see." I said. I knew where I was going now, and I knew that she would love it. I saw her open her mouth to speak, but to avoid giving it away, I cranked the volume of the radio up before she could speak. I saw her give me a death state out of the corner of my eye, so I smirked at her and started singing along to the radio. She rolled her eyes and eventually joined in. Sooner or later, we were screaming lyrics to random 80s songs, not a care in the world.

I pull into the parking lot of target. "What's your plan Dave?" She asked me. I hop out the car and run around to the other side so I can open the door for her. "We are gonna go into target, buy a shit load of snacks, drive up the mountain, park there and watch Netflix in the Tesla under the LA stars." I explain, locking the Tesla as we make our way into target. She looked at me surprised. "Or if that's too cliché...-" I am interrupted by Natalie. "What? No. That's a great plan." She says smiling. "I'm just amazed you thought of all that yourself." I chuckle grabbing a trolley for all our snacks.

We leave target, our trolley loaded with chips and ice cream and basically any snack you can think of. We unload it all into the backseat of the car, smirking at eachother. We settle down in the Tesla and start driving down the street. We soon reach the steep, bumpy mountain road. After a minute or two we reach the top and park of a patch of grass that perfectly overlooked LA.
We step out of the Tesla, trying to take in the wonderful view. We collapse onto the hood of the car, mesmerised by all the blinding lights of the city below.

I look over at Natalie and immediately notice her beauty. Her hair was now up in a perfectly imperfect bun with strands of chocolate brown hair left framing her cheeks. The moonlight was beaming off her jawline highlighting her perfect face structure. Her lips slowly parted as she said, "Dave, this view is incredible." The loose strands of her hair swayed in sync as she turned her head to look at me. I was mesmerised by her effortless beauty.

I was lost in her eyes, and didn't hear the question that escaped her mouth. "David?" She said loudly, snapping me back into reality. "Huh, sorry, what'd you say?" I quickly replied, confused about my previous toughts. "When was the last time you visited your family?" She repeated giggling at me.

Natalie's pov

David was Los in his thoughts, I could tell. He was staring off into the distance, not processing my words. I smiled at his blank expression and repeated my question. "Huh, sorry, what'd you say?" He said, making me chuckle. He was cute. In a dorky way. I never thought I'd say that David Dobrik was cute, but oh well, there's a first for everything. We talked for a couple minutes until he started zoning out again. I chuckled me shook my head at him. I hopped off the hood of his Tesla and grab him by the hand leading him to the Tesla. "So," I say. "Netflix." He smirks settling down in his seat with chip packets in his hand. We put on Mean Girls and begin to watch.
