I keep trying to pull away, but his grip is too strong on my wrists. "Come on babe don't fight it," He said, dragging me close and closer to a bedroom. "Don't call me that," I said in a monotone, stony voice, getting a sudden outburst of confidence. I keep attempting to free my arm, and it worked, because for a second I had escaped his deadly grasp. I took that second to turn around and sprint in the other direction. He stumbles back as I push my way through the crowds of drunk people, longing to run into David.

"Hey!" Shouts the guy. "Get back here! I was only trying to have some fun!" I ignored him and ran. I suddenly heard glass breaking, followed by screams and laughter. I followed the distant screams, knowing that David would probably want to record anything that would give him content. "Fuck you Dave!" I heard Zane shout. I also heard the guy coming closer to me. No one in the crowd cared to help me. Everyone just looked at me weird and carried on drinking. This house was huge, and I felt like I had been running forever.

I was about to admit defeat and give in, when I heard the sound of David's laugh outside. I started screaming and shouting his name. I turned around to see the guy shoving his way through all the people, catching up with me.

Luckily I make it outside just in time and collapse into David's arms. "What's wrong Nat? Are you okay?" He asked, concerned. I shook my head quickly, beginning to sob. "I finally found you!" Said the guy, making his way out of the door. "Let's finish what we started, aye?" He walked over and friend to grab me from david, but David didn't let him.

David's pov

It clicked to me what had happened. I gently passed Natalie off to Zane, and walked over to the guy. "And who do you think you are?" I asked him. "Uh, her boyfriend?" He replied like it was obvious. I scoffed and shoved him. "Oh really? She was pretty eager to get away from you before. Did you guys fall out?"

His face scrunched up into a face of rage as he swung at me, with a sloppy, weak fist. I dodged it and stepped back. "Woah dude careful you didn't dislocate a shoulder," I said. "Watch your mouth Dobrik," He said to me. I smiled at him and outstretched my arm. "That's right. My name's David, David Dobrik. And you are?" I heard a giggle come from behind me, and I turned to see Natalie smiling at me from her spot in Zane's arms, encouraging me to keep going. "Didn't I tell you to watch your mouth?" He said, grabbing me by the shirt. "Woah, not very friendly, I see," I said, earning a wave of chuckles from the growing crowd.

I easily de-attached his hands from my shirt and subtly twist them sideways, making him wince. He then tried to punch me again, but missed. That caused me to punch him square in the face. "Wooh! Let's go Dave!" Shouted Zane from the crowd. I turned around to look at them. That was obviously a mistake because the second I turned to face them, Natalie's face dropped as she shouted, "Dave behind you!" I hastily turned around to see the guy swinging at me once more. But this time, the only difference was that I didn't have time to move.

As his fist came into contact with my face, I fell back. I looked up at him. "Nice one," I said, jumping up and stretching. "But you've gotta work harder on the accuracy. You see, if you were to punch me in the nose, you would have-" I was stopped by him lunging at me. I jumped out of the way, causing him to fall to the floor instead.

I then went over to him, squatted down beside him, and said, "Listen up buddy, don't you ever lay a finger on my girl again. Not one finger you got that?" I then punched him square in the face. His nose began to start bleeding as he looked at me. "See? The nose would have been so much better," I said before walking away from him and towards where Natalie was.

She hugged me, and she didn't let go, either. We just stop in the middle of the party, hugging. "I didn't want to hurt him that bad, Nat," I said to her, leaning back slightly, just so I could be able to look her in her beautiful brown eyes. "I know Dave," she replied. "And thank you for that. I don't think I want to start some big drama." I smiled as we walked out of the party, followed by Zane.

As for the guy, word says that he had so many pints of beer after that, that he could barely even stand on his two feet. Apparently, he tried driving home and immediately got pulled over, earning him 10 months of jail. But then again, that was just a rumour. And you shouldn't always believe rumours, even if they do sound pretty believable.

I rewrote this chapter because the last ending didn't have too good of a reaction. I hope this is better. I didn't really read over it, so sorry if some of it doesn't make any sense, or if there's some grammar mistakes.
