Chapter 20

Alhamdulillah, I can't believe we are up to twenty chapters.
I couldn't have done it without all of your support, I'm so over the moon seeing my book moving further.

AMNAH'S POV

I woke up feeling headache due to lack of sleep. I've been thinking on how I'm going to handle this situation all night.
I finally got up from my bed and headed to the bathroom, did the usual and out.

Amnah made breakfast, after she was done she realized Manal wasn't in the sitting room.
She went to her room and saw her still sleeping, she woke her up and told her to the usual in the bathroom and come down for breakfast.

Breakfast was served by Amnah, it was hot cocoa and chocolate cake.
They ate peacefully in a silent room.
Once done, they both gathered the used plates and cups and took it for washing.

Manal, can we talk?

Sure sis.

Uhmm..... Amnah told Manal everything that had happened between her and Aarif.

But Amnah why did you hid this from us, or is it possible you love him that's why you want me to end my relationship with him, huh!

No! Manal, I swear I will never do this to you. And how can you say I love him while I'm married. Please believe me I have nothing to do with him.

Amnah what you are saying is something that I can't believe, and let me make myself clear to you. I love Aarif and I will always do no matter what. So anything you say can't make me stop loving Aarif.

Manal I understand that you love Aarif, and I will be more than happy to see my only sister marrying the love of her life. But I just can't take any risk to see you hurt.

Amnah I understand that you care about my well being, but let bygone be bygone. I will handle things myself, Manal said before leaving to her room.

AMNAH'S POV

I actually don't know what to tell Manal to make her believe me.

Could it be possible that Aarif had mend his evil ways?
Could it be possible. No I don't think so.
Maybe Manal can change him into a better person, I should just let it go and let her dream come true.

What! No way, I just can't stand it!

Amnah was dressed in a peach and blue atamfa, she tied her head tie in ZB's style. She looked at herself one more time in the mirror before sauntering out of her room.

What was all the dressing for?
Aamir is coming back from NYC.
So she has to dress up before he arrives.

Manal helped Amnah in the kitchen, ignoring what had happened between them.
She equally went to the sitting room and rearranged the pillows, scented the house with incense.

Amnah arranged everything on the dining table, while Manal washed the used utensils.

Aamir was back, he salamed before entering the house and the first thing he smell was the incense which made him smile.

He approached to the dining area and saw several kinds of food which made him swallow his saliva.

He went up to his room, dropped his bag on the one sitter chair. Before he could turn his gaze in north direction Amnah engulfed him in a hug then uttered "welcome back hun".
He removed her hands from his body and uttered thank you in annoyance and sauntered to the bathroom.

AMNAH'S POV

Why did he do that? Was he angry at me. I know I haven't wronged him before he left for NYC, so why is he acting strange.
I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard the sound of the door.

Aamir please tell me what's wrong.
He ignored me and went to the door.
I quickly went to the door and stopped him from going out.
Babe please tell me what's wrong, why are you all upset placing both my hands on his shoulder.
But he took off my hands and moved me from the door as if I was a statue.

What have I done to him, I said feeling depressed.
I followed him and hopefully I managed to catch up with him.

Aamir please tell me what's wrong?

Amnah, I am much disappointed in you. I never knew you could hide such matter from me.

What are you talking about Aamir, I didn't get you.

Oh! Amnah, don't pretend now, I already know everything.
Tell me what had happened between you and Aarif and why you are stopping Manal from getting married to him.

I was lost, how does he knows about this?

Amnah I know you must be wondering how I knew about this, right? Well.....

I told him, Manal said before Aarif could conclude his statement.

But Manal how could you, I thought you said you were going to handle it yourself.

Yes, Amnah. I did by telling Aamir.
Because I don't know when you are going to open up to everyone.

Yes Amnah, Aamir interrupted.
I just can't believe you hide this issue from all of us, and FYI I even told m..... before Aamir could end his last word mama came in.

Mama! Amnah went for a hug but mama stopped by using her hand to stop her from coming further.

Amnah I'm really disappointed in you, mama said in quite a high rage.

Mama I'm so sorry, I'm truly regretting what I did, Amnah said trying to come close to mama. But mama stopped her.

Amnah I don't want to talk to you at this point, please stop all this. Mama said in a very high tone.

Finally an update!

Amnah is really in great trouble, every body is angry at her.
