Izuku's POV

I finally finished it! I somehow got cut a few times, but that's okay. Picking up the handmade medal, I showed it to Kacchan, who was previously reading, and he gave me a proud nod. "I'm glad I finished it in time..! Danny needs to feel special on his last day! Right, Kacchan?" Giving a curt nod, he swiftly went back to being invested in the book.

I sigh and lightly grab the edge of his sleeve and made him stand up and then lead him outside, his nose was still in the book. 'Is it really that interesting of a book? Or..is he just super bored?' I thought as I opened the Mahogany door leading to the outside. The medal tucked safely into my pocket, I walk up to Ray by the tree and made Kacchan sit down. Knowing him, he wouldn't want to do the race, as it is 'A waste of time.' I looked at Ray who was already pulling out a pocket watch, Danny, Norman, Emma, Phil, Conny, a couple of others, and I lined up and waited for Ray to say the word.

It's silent for a couple of minutes, before we hear a loud, yet sharp "GO!"

Dashing off Norman, Danny, Emma, and I are in the lead with the others falling behind, running into the woods, Emma started to do some parkour, falling behind and whining out a good old "Aww maaaaaannn!!"

Danny started to speed up slightly and I noticed this and did the same. Being this fast in a 4 year old's body is hard and tiring, but we all know Danny likes a challenge. We keep on spreading up until Norman is panting and slowing to a stop to catch his breath.

I smile apologetically at Norman and continue on, going faster and faster until my legs can't go anymore. My knees buckle down and I fall, faceplanting into an ant hill.

Third Person's POV

Danny had a victorious face on and he did a little peace sign to match his wide grin. "I won!!" He laughed. 'Kind of sounds like All Might..' Katsuki and Izuku thought with a small smile. "Yep! And for your glorious victory, we, by we I mean I, made you a special thing!" Izuku said cheerfully, Katsuki did little jazz hands for effect.

"Oh? What is it, Izu?" Danny asked looking at Izuku curiously as said boy pulled out the medal he made. "Ta-da! For your special day, we got you your first ever medal!" Izuku smiled brightly handing Danny the medal. "Be glad, it's even done, I had to stop the idiot from accidentally hurting himself with safety scissors..!" Kastuki groaned as Izuku shushed him quickly.

"I love it! Thank you guys so much! You're going to make me miss you guys more than I already will!" Danny said as he hugged them. Emma came bounding up to them giggling something about friendship and the sorts.

Dinner had come faster than they thought it would, Isabelle saying grace, the smaller children playing with their food and getting scolded, the older ones laughing. It was a wonderful evening, Danny couldn't wait to see the outside world beyond those gates, shoveling his food down, he finished quickly and told Isabelle he was going to go pack.

Katsuki cringed at the other children for pretending their food was a war scene or a forest and all the bits of carrot were bunnies and unicorns or something. He thought it was childish, while Izuku thought it was adorable. He had wanted to adopt a kid with Todoroki one day, but was too nervous to ask, in his eyes, this was kind of like a simulator for parenthood. The difference was, was he was also a child and not an adult.

Once everyone had finished dinner, the children had helped clean up and get ready to go to sleep. Once finished putting dishes away, Izuku and Katsuki had gotten ready for bed. They were all going to see Danny off, then head to bed, today was a long day and a lot would love to sleep so they could wake up ready for tomorrow.

Putting on house slippers, brushing their teeth and going out to the foyer, they stood and saw Danny in a brown suit, with a suitcase filled with 'stay safe and happy (人*´∀｀)｡*ﾟ+' cards from his family. "Well..this is it guys.. I'm officially adopted once I leave these doors. I will write to you all everyday, with a very detailed explanation of what it's like out there!" Danny exclaims, exciting the smaller children.

To say Izuku got attached to Danny was an understatement, he was tearing up at the thought of his 'brother' leaving him, possibly forever. Katsuki was patting Izuku's back, smirking at the emotional adult. "Getting attached wasn't a good idea now, was it Deku?" Izuku laughed slightly and shook his head. "No..no it wasn't. I'm not ready!"

Danny chuckled as he was hugging Conny and Phil, hearing their conversation. He could be seen holding his medal, not wanting to put it on just yet. "I'll come back when I'm an adult and help mom out. So that way we can all be a big happy family again!" He smiles brightly. The smaller children, Izuku included, cheered at the thought.

"Come on, it's time to go." Isabelle said in a calm voice with her soft smile plastered on her face.

"Kacchan will we ever get to see Danny again..?" Izuku mumbled as they were walking together to the bathroom. Why? Because one of them is scared of the dark but won't admit it. "I have no clue Deku. But-" Katsuki stopped walking abruptly and looked at the wall beside them, Izuku had followed his gaze and frowned.

"Do you think he forgot it?" He mumbled. There hanging on the wall, was the medal they duo had made Danny. "We should have enough time, I don't think he left for good yet..! Let's give it back to him!" Izuku said, determined to give their friend his prize. "Mm.. it won't hurt to check. We won't die or anything," Katsuki said grabbing the medal in one hand, then snatching Izuku's hand in the other. "But we need to run before he exits the gates completely." And he ran out the door with Izuku in tow.

A/N: I know I'm cutting it short for this one, but the next chapter is going to be about a lot of things, so it would be longer than the rest. Hopefully-

I'm so sorry, a lot of things hit me like a truck and I forgot how and couldn't find the energy to write. This apology is worth nothing to some, some won't read it, and some will. But even if you do read it or you don't, just know that I am terribly terribly sorry. I will try my very very best to go back to a schedule and make you all so very happy..! ^^"
