1821: The city of Las Vegas is named by Raphael Rivera. It is used a rest stop between New Mexico and Los Angeles. It's name ironically means "The Meadows" or Fertile Plains.

1844: John Tyler sends a crew to explore and study the Las Vegas Valley, sewing the seeds for the Mexican-American War (1846-1848)

1905: The settlement is officially established due to a rail connection between LA and Salt Lake City. It would be incorporated in 1911 as part of the creation of Clark County

1910: Gaming is outlawed in Nevada

1930: The Boulder Dam, now the Hoover Dam, begins being constructed. It would increase the amount of water going to the city 5-fold

1931: Gambling is legalized in Nevada, along with the illegal consumption of alcohol, crime is a major factor to the city

1937: the Boulder Dam begins generating power for the city

January 27, 1951: The U.S. detonated the first of 100 atomic bombs at The Nevada Test Site

1950's: In the era of desegregation, the criminal organizations spearheaded the change, despite what deeds would allow them

1955: Area 51, officially known as Groom Lake, becomes property of the US Airforce. It is known to be an open training ranger, for the testing of Lockheed U-2 aircraft

1989: The city's modern era, the Megaresort (over the area of crime bosses) begins with the opening of The Mirage. The Original MGM Grand, later Bally's Las Vegas has already existed for some time prior.

1993: The Adventuredome Opens

1994: The Arrow Hyper Coaster, Desperado opens at Buffalo Bill's in nearby Primm

1996: The Stratosphere Tower, including the now defunct High Roller Roller coaster, has it's grand opening. Current famous rides, Insanity and X-Scream would open in 2005 and 2003 respectively (with the coaster being removed after 2005)

1997: The last Togo in the United States, The Big Apple Coaster (also known as Manhattan Express) opens alongside the New York New York Hotel/Casino

2014: The World's tallest Ferris Wheel, the Vegas Roller, opens to the public across from Ceasers Palace

2017: The National Hockey League (NHL expansion team), Vegas Golden Knights, make their home debut on October 9

2020: The National Football League (NFL) team, Oakland Raiders, will begin playing in the city, while the Oakland Athletics will get a new stadium in Oakland beginning in 2023.

In the Summer of 2026, Our heroes travel to Sin City to stop a complex scheme of Lalia "Landing" Draves to storm Area 51 and bring the worst nightmares to life.
