Three Weeks Later

All of Christine's new friends had joined her in Pennsylvania for the funeral.

"How are you doing Gwen?" Christine asked, "It's only been a month since Holliwood Nights."

"I just wanted to thank you again in person," she replied. Her hair had since been dyed to match the colors of The Jester's Texas days, with Pink and Purple in a Harlequin style, with black as an aesthetic.

Kelson looked like he was a CIA spy. However, he got a job as Jazzland's new head of security.

As Kelson had promised, she was buried like a fallen warrior, 21 Gun Salute and all.

The procession then moved to the Horse Show Grounds. Lindsay had utterly barred, via Kelson, to not have her photo be big and visible, but small and to the side.

He and Grace were dressed up like the AIMS Riders and he was in the center of the room, along with some of his high school friends.

After everybody was seated, Lindsay rose from his place.

"Friends, colleagues, classmates, and the Landis family. It comes unexpected to see not only the return of your son, Akron, from the underworld, but that he would end up killing your own flesh and blood, FBI Agent Kiva Landis. I may have crushed on both in my prime, and regretted myself so much that the Second Korean War did not scare me like cruel wars do, but grant me an epiphany of sorts."

The audience became intrigued.

"While with some company from American Music Abroad, Kiva found me with my now girlfriend Grace Tyr."

He received applause, but cut it as quickly as it started.

"She helped save the life of Christine Winters twice from Lalia Landing, whose superiors tonight lie in chains in a Mississippi State Prison."

He received applause again with the same effect.

He began to put a strong passion into his speech,"Her close friend, Agent Kelson Bunce (Kelson stood up), told me that Akron had premeditated the murder of his own sister at the STAT. He wanted her to be buried as if it I were in that casket."

Some tears and applause followed.

"Now, before we dig into this beautiful lunch provided by Alice Salanzic, I want to sing a song of parting because, man, its been years since I've seen many of you, and who knows if will ever meet again?"

They sang "Health to the Company" and had lunch.

Meanwhile, Akron looked into a magic mirror (another piece of the collection).

"We need to lay low for awhile, Akron," Lalia's voice boomed. They were deep in a secret subterranean city in the British Isles.

"How long exactly?"

"Til when America is back on global stage. Summer 2028."
