HICCUP POV

These last few days were kinda hard, I only went to some party and got drunk and each time I would think about Astrid. I missed her but I know I messed everything up. I shouldn't have said that, it isn't her fault, a girl would never ask to be rapped.

Tonight there will be a party at my ex. Everyone is going, Astrid arrived here during the summer and she already is miss popular so she will probably be going with heather Elsa and Ruff. I will see her, I don't want to, but I have to. We need to talk, I feel empty without her, there is no one to make my days happier, she really is my best friend. I cannot start the school year with Astrid mad at me. First it would mess up our gang and second if she isn't in our gang she will be an outcast. I don't want that. I tried texting to her on many apps but no response. She would sometimes open my messages but she would skip me.

"HICCUP!" My dad yelled at me and made me get out of my thoughts. When he yells at me it is never a good sign, 

"I learned today by the principal of your school that if you keep the same attitude you had these last few years at school you won't graduate"

Wait what is he really talking to my principal?! Why did my principal call him? I don't want to talk about school!

"WHAT?! Why did my principal call you?!" He kept his angry face and told more news

"Also since Astrid is new I told him you could take care of her at school, since you both are really good friends" oh no.... it couldn't get worse

"Okay dad thanks for the awesome news now I really need to get going" I didn't let him talk, I ran to the door.

Arriving at the party around 8 o'clock there were many people. The house was huge, there was a 2 level pool with a view over the city. The balcony outside was also enormous, we could see the pool, the city and there was some chairs with tables. People were playing beer pong on them. In front of the house there was cars everywhere and people, a lot of people. This party was important since I was about to meet every new student.

I entered the house and greeted everyone. And as I expected, Astrid was here. She already had made a lot of friends. It was kinda of not cool, I didn't want her to become more popular then me. You know in every high school there is the popular gang, well in Berk high it was me, snotloud, Ruff, Tuff, Elsa, Jack, Heather, Fishlegs and then there was our really close friends that left high school Dagur and Eret. Merida is my ex, we used to date but she is a s**t and Anna, elsa's sister. She's nice but she doesn't hang out with us. Also she is a lot younger. Everyone knew us and respected us. And that's why my father didn't like my attitude.

By the pool, there was a bar and I immediately went there and asked for vodka. Yep Vodka, I love it.

"Hiccup! I wanted you to meet Kristoff, he is Anna's best friend. He's new to our school this year" Elsa clearly let me know that Anna had a crush one him only by the face she did. I know her and the rest of our gang since we were very young when we became friends so I learned to read their facial expressions.

I finally saw Astrid... she was sat with some guys, she was on the couch and two boys were also sat next to her the others were on the ground and were laughing. I sat on a chair and looked at her. I miss her, I miss all of our crazy ideas and our weird relationship. She saw me looking and looked back at me, but it didn't last much time. She gave back her attention to the guys, our eye contact didn't last 3 seconds. She looked mad and sad. What have I done...
