3 - Calling all parents

~ Renjun P.O.V ~

I just arrived in my office and I ask Chenle to write me the number of Jeno's and Jaemin's parents.

Chenle: Why do you need their numbers for?

Renjun: You remember when you told me that the patients seem normal?

Chenle: Yeah?

Renjun: Well it's because they are.

Chenle: So you're telling me that they don't have any diseases?

Renjun: No, the only "diseases" they have is that they love a person of the same gender as them.

Chenle: So they're gay? Like you and me?

Renjun: Exactly, and I think their parents brought them here because they think being gay is a disease or a crime and they can accept the fact that their child is gay. So they will do everything in their power to change their orientation or they kick their kid out of the house and at the same time, out of their life.

Chenle: That's horrible!

Renjun: I know, but some people are like that and we can stop that sadly.

Chenle: So you're going to investigate?

Renjun: Pretty much. Like in Sherlock Holmes.

Chenle: Yeah! I like those stories.

Renjun: Well then, Watson I need to do the calls so please leave my office.

Chenle: Yes Mr. Homes!

Chenle runs out of my office and I want to close the door because he forgot.

Renjun: Silly Chenle.

I went back to my desk and open my computer and my phone.

Renjun: So... To who do I start? The Lee family or the Na family? Let's start with the Na's they seem to be more open to the situation than Jeno's family.

So I dialled Jaemin's parent's phone number and waited.

Ms.Na: Hello?

Renjun: Hello this is Dr. Huang Renjun from the Korean Asylum. Am I speaking with Mr or Ms. Na?

Ms.Na: Yes this is Ms. Na's speak. Is there something wrong with my little Nana?

Renjun: Oh no don't worry. Everything is fine, actually, I call you because I would like to have a discussion about Jaemin with you. Is that possible?

Ms.Na: Of course! Maybe tomorrow morning?

Renjun: That would be perfect! Tomorrow at 10?

Ms.Na: That's fine with me!

Renjun: Great! So I will see you tomorrow?

Ms.Na: Yes! See you tomorrow Dr.Huang!

Renjun: See you tomorrow Ms.Na.

We finish the call. Well, it went better than I thought! Well, I didn't talk yet, but I can see that I could at least speak to her. Now it's time to call Jeno's family... I don't know why, but I feel like something bad is going to happen. I dialled the number and waited.

Ms. Lee: Hello?

Renjun: Hello! This is Dr. Huang Renjun from the Korea Asylum. Am I speak to Mr or Ms. Lee?

Ms.Lee: Yes this is Ms.Lee speaking.

Renjun: I would like to have a little conversation about your son Lee Jeno. Is that possible?

Ms.Lee: Did you find what's wrong with my son?!?

Renjun: That's exactly what I wanted to talk about with you. I already call Ms.Na and she told me she would come at 10 tomorrow.

Ms.Lee: I will come at the same time. I wouldn't like to waste your time. You must be a very busy young man.

Renjun: It this true that I am busy, but I don't mind. I will do whatever is in my possession to help my patient.

Ms.Lee: You're a very kind man Dr.Huang.

Renjun: That's what I'm told. So I will see you tomorrow morning at 10?

Ms.Lee: I will be there.

Renjun: Great! See you then Ms.Lee.

Ms.Lee: Yes, see you tomorrow Dr.Huang.

The call ended. I was actually kind of surprised. The discussion with Ms.Lee wasn't as bad as I thought! Well now, I will tell the two handsome men the great news! I'm totally not crushing on them right now. So, I walk out of my office in direction of Jeno's and Jaemin's room.

It's my birthday today!!!! Official 17 and a year before I become an adult!
