When he showed up

I woke up from my alarm clock dreading to have to go to school when my brother, Jacob walked in screaming how excited he was. I threw a pillow at him yelling to get out so he ran in fear as I got up. I put on the usual first day outfit sense it was the first day of school (10th grade for me sixth grade for the little hitler as I call him)
As I walk downstairs mother is cooking, this isn't usual why would she be cooking she only did this when dad lived with us.. "Good morning sweetie how did you sleep?" I was really confused I didn't even walk in the kitchen yet so I didn't know if she brought home a man from her business trip to New Zealand or something, I decided to play along for now. "I slept fine, this is unusual why are you cooking this morning?" As I walked in the kitchen dad as in MY father was sitting there and I had no idea what was going on so I didn't know if I was supposed to be happy or what! "Your father had been in New Zealand when I was and since it's been so long since he had seen his beautiful growing up children he insisted on seeing you and Jacob." I'm not quite sure if my mother is on drugs since she knows why I hate my father or if she thinks I forget my past when we brought him to court and WON. I couldn't reject him forever so I played along the whole morning. "Hello father it's been a while what maybe four years now..." It was awkward talking to him and I didn't know why he was here or had business talking to me or my mother or Jacob for that matter he missed too much and just wants to join back in or something? I'm not okay with it and my mother shouldn't be either something is wrong here and I'm gonna find out what it is.
"Alexis, hello I've come to invite you to my wedding in Madagascar with my fiancé Joanna." As he says fiancé I want to run away but I put imaginary staples into my feet to see what the fuck was going on. I didn't mean for it to sound rude but as I said it, it did. "What do you mean fiancé.?!" He shakes his head in some kind of disappointment and I didn't care. I looked at my mother and by her body position I'm being forced to say yes. I sigh and continue nicely hiding my anger "okay fine, when is it?" He could tell I didn't care right then and there but just had to have me come. "Alexis, please take this serious I don't think it's something for a young women like you to be upset about.. But if you would like to know now it's at the end of June since I haven't proposed yet and you would miss the last week of school to come with me for that week, also I'm paying so you just have to show up and put on the dress we give to you." I couldn't believe this man thinking that I'll come to his wedding when he hasn't done shit for me in my whole life other than ruin it and make things worse. The only reason I agreed to this was missing school and getting to travel out of the country, also because my mom needs time to herself without me and Jacob constantly bugging her about every little thing. Then everything got out of hand and I let it on the spot.. "So who's gonna tell Jacob your gonna marrying another women in another country and you choose his suit?" My father answers me thinking I would be okay with this, "actually Jacob will not be coming since he doesn't know and I just want you since your older and more mature to handle things like this." What kind of a dad doesn't tell their own son they're remarrying and doesn't even invite them to the wedding.. As annoying as my little demon brother is he's very responsible but my dick of a father wouldn't know this because he left us to our mother.
