What he did

It was spring of 2012 and our dad was a drunk. Jacob was always sent to grandmas because he got abusive towards me and my mom. As we picked Jacob up from his friends it was my birthday and he came home for my birthday, my dad showed up and it was unusual that he wasn't drunk like always. We walked in the house and he was on the couch with some other lady and she walked out in silence and as my father was sitting there smoking. He claimed that he had quit but obviously not. I knew my mom and him would have another fight and it was going to get physical so I grabbed Jacobs arm and dragged him to my room. He wanted to watch finding memo and I gave him what he wanted to stay down here and so I turned it all the way up so we couldn't here them screaming. While he was I there I snuck out to see my mother, and it was physical. He was punching her and everything while she was on the ground screaming. I picked up the phone to call the police as he slapped it out of my hand and pushed me to the couch, my mother got up and locked herself in her room sneaking the phone without him seeing, and I quietly lied there with tears rolling down my face while he sat on me and drank his liquor. Then, out of nowhere he pulled out a cigar and lit it. My mom walked back out silently to try and get away but he saw her and she froze not daring to move. He lights his cigar and puts it on my forehead, as I scream the police come barging in with guns up. "SIR, PUT YOUR HANDS UP." He must've been prepared because then he pulled out a gun to my head and my mother faints. "Shoot me then she gets it, now back away" as he said this Jacob walked out to a burning cigar on my forehead starting to blister guns pointed at my dad one at me and my mother on the floor. My father always had favoritism on Jacob and when he saw him he dropped everything and got off me, idiotically tried to explain. Jacob sprinted to me and my dad was taken in a police car and they got my mother up as we drove behind them, but to the hospital. At this point everyone was crying, Jacob scarred for the rest of his life, my mother now having seizures when she gets worried, and me with a scar on my forehead hidden by bangs of embarrassment not wanting to explain how I was abused by a drunk.

I'm very surprised he has a nerve to act like he's changed when he was in jail for 2 1/2 years.
