Jennie was looking off the bridge waiting for Lisa. The sun was just starting to set.
"Hey," Lisa tapped Jennie's shoulder.
"Hey you, it's been a long week."
"It has hasn't it?" Lisa answered.
They walked slowly along the bridge.
"So what have you been up to?" Jennie asked Lisa.
"Just doing a lot of studies and work."
"Mind telling me more?" Jennie asked. Her hands behind her back.
"I'm going into the medical field, save others, like you saved me."
"Lisa, don't flatter me, I was doing what was right." Jennie hit Lisa's shoulder.
"I don't think I have enough thank you's in this world, I would like to show it though. Tell me what your wish is."
"Hmm," Jennie brought her hands up to her chin to think, "I'll tell you when I can think of something."
"You know, we can get matching handkerchiefs, I have yours with your initial. How about you get one with mine?"
"That sounds like a good idea." Jennie smiled.
"Good because I didn't know how to bring this up." Lisa took a handkerchief out from her pocket. They stopped walking.
L. Manoban.
"Aww, that's so cute, thank you."
Jennie stood in front of Lisa and gave her a kiss on the cheek. They both blush.
"So uhm, where would you like to have dinner?" Jennie asked.
"Halmonie's food stall was great." Lisa said.
"I hope you brought a car, it's going to be a long walk."
"I'm a med student, no money, broke girl, spent my savings for the handkerchief."
"Lisa! You're making me feel bad for the gift now." Jennie handed the square cloth back to Lisa.
"I was just joking. I'm studying abroad Jennie, I have connections, don't worry." Lisa put the handkerchief in Jennie's pocket.
Lisa pulled out car keys and pressed a button revealing the cars location.
Lisa ran to the car and opened the door for Jennie. "Please enter." She bowed.
"With pleasure." Jennie got in smiling."
Lisa ran back around and got in the driver's seat. "Did you have any life threatening visions after me Jennie?"
She drove off.
"Wow. Way to be straight to the point."
"Oh sorry, I should've asked—"
"It's okay Lisa, you were the only person who I saw that had life threatening vision. The only other premonition." Jennie lowered her voice.
"I must be special then?" Lisa tried to joke.
"Yeah." Jennie hung her head low.
Lisa glanced to Jennie and saw she was sad. Lisa decided to pull over.
"Hey what's wrong?" Lisa rubbed Jennie's arm up and down.
"It's just, I feel like, these visions, I don't know—"
"Hey you don't have to tell me if you don't want to, I'll just be here for a shoulder you need to cry on."
"It's just, what if I see the deaths of my friends and there's really no way to avoid it then? What can I do?" Jennie cried into her hands.
