The next day went off pretty well. No one really talked about... what happened yesterday.
I'm surprised no one noticed, actually.
Mushroom girl even commended me. Isn't she supposed to be the one who exposes me since she was the victim? No shit.
Well, I can brush that off now.
But I can't help but keep it in my mind. I mean - Using a quirk that I've forbidden myself from using for almost 10 years? It's understandable, don't you think?
Apparently we had another set of training awaiting us, quite similar to the first one we did.
It was called the "Trial of Battle".
It was to check how well we would do as heroes.
If at first, the training we did was for our quirks, then this one is for monitoring skills and all that.
Oh, and guess who's with us? All Might!
The rules are simple, there'll be a hero pair and a villain pair. The hero pair needs to either apprehend the villain pair, or to disable the bomb found in the building.
Also, we get to wear our hero costumes!

Hey you know THIS IS ACTUALLY ONE OF MY BEST DESIGNS HONESTLY. I'M REALLY PROUD OF HOW I DID THIS FROM THE COLORING TO THE ANATOMY. Never thought I'd actually be proud of my own art someday. Anyway, Y/n's costume is steampunk themed. She has two stopwatches on her boots (stopwatch pair with Monoma) and a clock on her chest. Stop watches are to keep time of her quirk. The clock is actually a gauge that informs her how much iron she's using. If it hits 11, that means it's too much. Not really a gauge, much like a scale. Aight. Back to the story!
The pairs were decided, and I'll be playing in the Villain pair with Tetsutetsu.
We'll be going against mushroom girl and this guy I haven't heard of.
Apparently his name is Kuroiro. Looks like his quirk makes his body pitch black.
We're at a disadvantage, since Mushroom girl already knows our quirks, but we don't know the other guy's.
Fortunately we can get through it since Tetsu can turn to steel, and mushrooms can't grow on steel.
I'll have to find a way to back myself up.
The place we'll be fighting in looks like an abandoned building. It was dark and foggy inside.
The matches started, and instead of watching the match itself, I decided to call out to Tetsu and move somewhere else to start planning.
