Am I even Pregnant?

"I love you too, Ch- wait! Rih?!?" His face flushed. "What do you mean? I didn't say that." "Yeah. You did, Chris." "Babe lis-" "You better have a good explanation, Chris." I got up and crossed my arms, giving him a death glare. "Kami-" "Until I know what happened, you call me by my FULL name." He sighed. "Ok, Kamitalia. I'll tell you, but you gotta sit down," he pleaded. "Ok," I sat down beside him. What could he possibly say? I just know he cheated...   

  "Rihanna had came to the door one night while you were with your girls and said that she wanted me back and tried to kiss me. I pushed her back and told her I had moved on so far. Then she pushed her way in and sat on the couch. I asked her to leave, but she wouldn't budge. Baby, I mean Kamitalia, Robyn started to cry. And you know I hate to see women cry, so I sat beside her and tried to talk to her. I held her as she explained, but I SWEAR I wasn't trying to start any funny business. I was just trying to be a friend. She told me she was pregnant."

   I snapped my head up to look at him. He was biting his lip, nervously. "Not by me though." I sighed of relief. "Continue.""She told me that she had an abortion, and when I asked why, she looked me in my eyes. That's when I noticed it. She was intoxicated. She said she got the abortion because she wanted her first child to be mine. She inched closer to me, and I could smell the weed and alcohol on her breath. She kissed me, but I didn't kiss back."

  "Instead, I pulled her off and  she apologized. She got up crying saying she didn't know what she was thinking. Before leaving, she asked me to pray for her. And I've been doing that ever since. And I didn't wanna tell you because I didn't wanna hurt you." I didn't know what to say. I just sat there looking at him. " I'm sorry I didn't want any of this to come out because I knew that all it would do was make you angry. " I still was there speechless just looking at him. He stared at me in my eyes then i blacked out.

I woke up in a dimly lit room. I looked around and realized it was a hospital. "Chris?" I called. My voice was a bit raspy and groggy because I'd just woke up. "Yeah? Yeah baby I'm here," I heard him answer. "What happened? Why am I here?" "Kami, you passed out. I don't know why yet, but you did." "W-well where's the doctor?" 

As if on queue, a man in a white coat came in. "Hello Mrs.Brown," he began. "Oh no. We're not married. I'm Ms.Stevens," I corrected him. "Ok, Ms.Stevens." Chris looked at me like it hurt to hear me say we weren't married. "Your health is perfect, but I believe you were overwhelmed by something and it caused you to faint." "And the baby?" I asked frantically. "Is there even a baby? Am I pregnant?"
