Came on to me...

I woke up to the smell of bacon and flowers. I got up and walked pass my full body mirror, but stopped and backed up to look at my stomach. It looked like I had eaten a pig. I walked downstairs and found Chris, my mom, and Mama Brown in the kitchen jammin' to oldies and cooking breakfast. I hear my little brother yelling,"Jiddy Jiddy Jiddy! JIDDY!" He ran to me and jumped in my arms. "Jiddy, why is your belly big?" "Well, KC, Jiddy is pregnant with your nephew." I looked at Chris as he smiled and washed the dishes.

"So that means there's a person inside you?" I laughed at the way he said it. "Why yes there is! And you'll learn how when your older so don't ask!" I laughed and put him down. I hugged Mama Brown and my mom. "How's your leg doing, sweetie," Mama Brown asked me as she wiped out a bowl. "It's doin better. About a couple more weeks and it should be fine." I looked at it and went to the table to sit down. It still hurts to put pressure on it. Chris came and kissed my forehead as he set a glass of orange juice on the table In front of me.

The doorbell rang and I got up and wobbled to it, earning a laugh from KC. I opened it and yelled,"Daddy!!!" He hugged me as my mom came to the door. He came in and kissed her. "Chris, my main man!" My dad walked over to him and joined Chris In a handshake and hug. "Kamitalia, what happened to your leg," my dad asked as he sat next to me. "Well see what had happened was.."I started. Chris mocked me in his most ghettoist ratchetist voice,"See, what had happened was.." My mom and Chris both had a good laugh about it as I told my dad what happened. "You mean Trey as in Trey Songz? Oh that devil!" "DADDY," I snapped at him. "I know I know I'm sorry Kami I just hate things like that you know I do!" "I know but it's all good now! Onto another subject-" My mom cut me off,"baby shower..." She looked up slowly to Mama Brown as she gasped. They both yelled,"BABY SHOWER!" I realized what they were talking about. "We need a baby shower." I told them as I went over to the stove. I got my plate and piled it high. You can't blame me tho, I'm pregnant! I sat down as Chris mumbled," I guess I won't be eating for the next 3 months." I hit him as everyone laughed. He gave me the biggest kiss as my mom awed like always.

Later that day, we all went out to dinner at the most gorgeous restaurant Vivace. Mama Brown and my mommy discussed details of the baby shower they wanted, but little did they know, it was already planned. I was suppose to surprise them about it tomorrow which Is the day before the shower. "Kami didn't tell you guys?" I knew I shouldn't have told Chris with his big mouth. "Tell us what," my mom asked anxiously.

"You have such a big mouth, Chris!" I gave him a glare and he immediately stuffed his face with salad and garlic bread. "Tell us what?" Mama Brown asked with a slightly irritated tone of voice. "Well... I-..." I let out a big sigh and looked at my salad. "I already planned it." They both gasped and looked at each other. "Well it is HER baby shower. She does have the right to plan it herself," Mama Brown said as my mom quietly agreed. "Mom, are you okay with it?" She looked up at me and smiled. "Of course I am, sweetie! Joyce is right. You do have the right to plan it yourself. I guess we did go a little overboard."

Chris almost choked on his salad. Me and Chris looked at my mom, looked at each other, and looked back at her. "A LITTLE?!" We all busted out laughing as we attracted the others in the restaurant's attention and immediately girls started screaming. 😒 I called up Chris' security from outside and they took us out. We ain't even have to pay, one of Chris' fans paid for it. She was the only one I actually liked.

The next day was officially 7 months, so I was big enough to go take baby pictures with Chris, so I set up an appointment and Chris and I got dressed. After the photo shoot, he took me to the studio to let me here him and Jhené Aiko record a piece of "Drunk Texting". I met Jhené before when Chris and I first met. She is the sweetest girl ever!

When they got done with the chorus, Jhené motioned me to come in her booth. I walked in and she asked me if I wanted to sing her part. I said sure, so she set me up and went to work on the editing. Me and Chris started the song and did it the WHOLE way through. "I did not know you could sing like that, babe!" Chris looked at me with the biggest smile ever as we walked out of the booth. "Let's just hope this little one can, too," Chris said as he laid one hand on my stomach and the other around my waist. I giggled and laid my head on his shoulder.

"Oh! I almost forgot! Jhené I'm having the baby shower tomorrow. Are you going to be able to make it?" "Of course I am! I would never miss it for the world!" I hugged her and Chris bumped in and interrupted me,"Uh Kami I think we need to go so we can set up for tomorrow." "Babe can't we set up In the morning?" I looked up at him as he gave me a glare. "I-It would be better if we set it up now so u can rest in the morning..." I looked at him with a questioned face and quietly agreed. "Okay... Well it was good seeing you, girl! I'll call you in the morning!" I hugged Jhené and Chris and I left.

"What was that?" I looked at Chris as soon as we got in his Ferrari. "Jhené..." He hesitated as he put his hand on the gear switch. I put my hand on top of his to stop him from pulling it back. "Jhené... What?" He looked at me and bit his lip nervously. "S-She..."

"She what, Chris?"

Chris sighed deeply before beginning. "Look, Kami... Jhené came on to me."
