"Ben Ben Ben, no, stop, that's not how you do it!"

I looked up from my bowl of cereal that I'm currently eating out like a doggy bowl, with a mouthful I asked, "How do I do it then?"

He sighed, took out a spoon and put it in my hand, "Remember now?"

"Oooohhhh..." I chuckled at myself and started eating the cereal with the spoon.

Why are humans complicated? Why need like seven different tools to eat different food? Why not use your hands? They're qualified for almost anything.

My adoptive dad chuckled at me as I happily eat my cereal, "Hey, kid."

"Hm?" I looked at him.

I don't how but I grew close to him since the day he found me and kinda forced me to be his 'child'. He may look intimidating when you first meet him but it turns out he's a real great dad. It was difficult in the beginning but I managed. It's been almost two years. I'm about 15, he once said.

"So as you know, you've stayed in the apartment most of the time, only coming with me when we needed groceries..." he started.

Given my wolf characteristics, I don't like intervening with humans. I nodded for him to continue.

"And I know it's hard for you to get used to humans, I was wondering if I could put you into a school." He said, and before I could reply, he added, "Since I can't homeschool you forever. Also because you will have to leave the apartment and live your own life at some point. You gotta learn kid."

I munched at my cereal for at least a minute before saying, "But what about my fangs? Everyone will freak out and I'll proabably get caught."

"You won't." He smiled reassuringly, "Besides, it's not like you'll attack anyone, right?"

I nodded glumbly, wondering if he forgot the one time I bit a women who discriminated his choice of tattoos on his arm and neck when he took me to get a tattoo myself when I asked.

I mean why do humans do that? You're all in a pack, why be mean and make one another hate each other, when there's a possibility you'll need help.

My dad sighed, "Listen Ben, I know you think this will be a bad idea, but if anything happens at all, I'll beat the crap outta them."

I smiled and nodded, "Thanks."

He smiled, "Guess you'll be going to school. You'll be starting tomorrow."

I had a mild panic attack, "Wh-what? I don't even know what to do yet!"

"Kid, no one know what to do. So that is how you will roll. Eat up. We gotta get you nice clothes."

Oh boy.

I wolfed down my cereal and grabbed my beanie and ran after my dad who is already out the door and down our hall.

"Daaaaaad." I called out at him.

He looked over his shoulder grinning, "Come on kid. Cheer up."
