"Kid, you gotta get out the car now." My dad pushed.

I ducked lower in my seat when another teenager human walked past, "Are you sure this will improve my, what? Self-esteem?"

"Very sure, kid. Remember the other time you doubted me? The time about swimming?"

I smiled at the memory, I caused such a overdramatic scene. It was actually fun when I got used to it.

I sighed, "Alright. Wish me luck."

"Good luck kid. And remember to call tonight about your day at school, alright?"

"How late this time?"

"I'll be home around midnight every Tuesday." He said.

I nodded and looked out the window again, noticing more humans are around, I whimpered.

My dad patted me on the head, "Come on kid. It's now or never."

I got out the car, waving my dad bye as I walked into the school gates.

I got the panic attack instantly.

I was having trouble breathing when I noticed everyone was giving me looks. Do they know I'm a wolf? Maybe it was the red eyes giving it away? Oh god, I'm gonna get caught. Why did I think this was a good idea?

Then someone tapped me on the shoulder, I turned, facing a human girl. She has wavy brown hair and golden brown eyes, she's an inch shorter than me, wearing kind smile, "Hey, are you new?"

I whimpered, then realised I made a mistake when she gave me a concerned look.

I cleared my throat, feeling my heart pound like crazy, "Um, I'm new."

She nodded, "Well, I'll help you around then," she stuck out her hand, "I'm Natalie."

I stared at her hand, completely confused. She also seemed confused when she lowered her hand.

"Uh, I'm Ben." I said nervously, my hands started to twitch.

She seemed to notice, "Hey, let's get you inside. I think some food might help you calm down."
