Chapter 1

Running...

That's all what was on my mind. I had to get away from this place. The paws underneath me kicking the dirt as I run. The sun is blazing through the forest trees with the wind blowing through my fur. The smell of blood lingers on me. My scent was strong they could track me easily. I need to find a river or a body of water. I heard a loud howl from behind me. There was not one body of water in sight. There was only one way out. Pass the border. I would be entering another packs territory. I would be dead in seconds. But I rather be dead than living here. I hear the sound of many paws coming towards me. I'm almost there. I had wounds everywhere, I lived through hell. There getting so close I could hear their loud breathing from behind me. One of them caught up to me. He bit down on my back causing me to yelp in pain, but I kept running. I through him off my back and kept running with pain. Blood was hitting the ground fast and my eyesight was getting blurry. I pass the border and they all stopped and howled back at me. I could feel their anger radiating off of them. They soon started to leave. I couldn't see anything anymore. My legs gave up on me and I fell to the forest floor. My breathing was irregular. Something came, it growled at first ready to attack. But more came. I'm dead. There's no way of me making it out alive. Last thing I heard before passing out was a.. Wimper?

Flash Back/Early that day

"Wake up, Love." Kai spoke. I opened my eyes and I felt a splash of water poured on me. "Get up and start cleaning and making my food," He left. I gotten up quickly because if I didn't start now I would get a punishment. I was rushing and forgot about the water on the floor. I slipped and made a huge bang. I gotten up quickly and went out of the room. I hope no one heard that. Would if he heard that.. Oh no... I quickly made my way up the stairs and started to put a pot of water on the stove. While it was trying to boil I started to clean. I need to make a plan to get out of this place. Today is my birthday, I'm turning 18 but I really don't care anymore. This is the age where I can find my mate. But nobody would want me. I'm weak, ugly, and scared. My parents dropped me off here when I was young. They wanted money. So they sold me as a slave. The Alpha, Kai, has made an arranged marriage between him and me. He's the worst guy in the world. Him and his pack abuses me. Taking away all my will and strength. He haunts me everyday. I finished cleaning up and went to boil some eggs in the water. I started making all the other food he usually eats. I soon finished and made my way to Kai's office where he usually likes to eat and work. I knocked on the door and he yells at me to come in.

"Ah my food is done, come here," He commanded. I went over to him and gave him his food. I bowed down without saying anything. He took a bite of the food and then looked at me. "It's good. Go and clean the rest of the house." I left soon after that and started cleaning the house. I did almost everything and the last thing was mopping. I got a bucket of watery soap and a sponge. I started to scrub the floor when D.O. came into the room.

"You're not getting it done fast enough," He said angrily. "I have people coming over!"

"I'm sorry. I'll try to get it done faster," I stated while my heart was racing.

"I'm not going to take that sorry. You need to be punished and then maybe you'll learn to make sure you get it done fast enough."

Sweat started to form on my body, while my heart was racing. He grabbed me by the hair and dragged me to the basement. I screamed in pain and fear. He threw me onto the ground and started to beat me, bruises started to form onto my body as cuts were starting to open from my previous beatings. They would always beat me enough to almost kill me, but his lasted shorter.

"I would do more but, I have to keep you pretty for tomorrow," He stated as he smirked at my almost lifeless body. He left the room and I started to cry silently. Tomorrow me and that monster Kai are suppose to get married. I tried to get up but I couldn't. I started to observe the room. I saw a window opened! They're usually always locked. I used all my strength to get on my feet. I stumbled a little leaning on the wall for support while I hiss in pain. This is my only chance to escape. All of the sudden I hear a little voice in my head.

"Y/n.. Y/n...Y/N!! LET ME OUT." I gotten so scared I didn't know what to do.

"Who are you," I whispered while crying almost.

"Y/n, i'm your inner wolf, Crescent."

"W-what.. How.."

"I was suppose to be there when you were 12, but they abused you and I didn't have enough strength to get out until today. But now we need to get out of here. You need to climb through that window I'll do the rest."

"Okay.."

I used all my strength to get out of the window. Screaming silently as the pain increased. I've gotten out! Crescent started to speak.

"Y/n, I'll try my best to get out of here and explain everything." Soon all of my bones started to crack and break causing me to scream. My pack came rushing out, fur was growing on my body and they just stood there and watched. I finished transforming into my wolf. I have white coated fur with silver eyes. They all stood in shock. I could still think, speak, and see everything that was happening, but Crescent she was in control of my actions and movements. Kai soon came out with his Beta Sehun. Crescent barked and growled at them while Kai seemed shocked and mad. Kai spoke worriedly, "C-catch them now!" Soon Kai's pack started to attack but Crescent started to fight them, we killed most of them but we were badly wounded. Crescent couldn't fight anymore. She soon spoke to me quickly.

"I only have energy to run. We need to go now!" She started to run and get out of this place. While Kai frustately yelled, "We're coming for you Y/n!" He howled calling more pack members as they transformed into their wolf forms and started to run after me.

"Y/n, I'm sorry, I need to be in full control to get us out of here," Crescent said. All of the sudden everything turned dark.
