Chapter 2

I slowly opened my eyes observing the room around me. My heart is beating out of my chest. Where am I? Am I dead? I'm in a little bed in a room with medical tools, computers, etc. I start to shake an begin to cry. I'm scared, what are these people going to do to me? I need to escape from here. I tried to move from my bed but I was in so much pain. I looked down to see wires in me. I yanked it out quickly and blood started to come out, but I didn't care it doesn't hurt that much since I'm used to little cuts. I tried to climb out of my head but I groaned and cried silently in pain. I gotten off the bed but my feet gave up on me they're so weak. I fell to the floor with a loud thud. I screamed from the pain and tears ran down my cheeks. I heard the door swing open causing me to shiver because i'm scared, in pain, and cold. All of the sudden my wolf starts going crazy, saying random words. All I get out of her is, "MATE!" I was so terrified I didn't turn around. Kai said he was my mate but he used to torture me. Would he be the same? Will he torture me as well? Please help me, moon goddess. Instead I felt a pair of warm hands wrap around me. His sweet aurora of nature and honey. My wolf wanted to trust him. My mind was telling me to be careful, don't trust too easily. His muscular tone biceps were holding me together preventing me from doing anything stupid.

???: Shh.. Everything will be alright.

He said it in such a calm voice, calming my mind and body down. I want to trust him but it will need some time.

???: Hey.. It's alright. You're alright..

He let go of me. His perfect face and jawline. He had muscles covering his body. With brown eyes that you could stare into forever.  He was an Alpha or at least the son of his Alpha, but they're all the same. Every single one of them. Is he going to hurt me though? That thought made a shiver go down my spine.

Y/n: P-please don't hurt me. Please...

???'s POV

I was trying to do my work because I'm going to become an Alpha soon. But I just couldn't. The thought of how I found my mate made my blood starts to boil. I'm going to kill whoever touched my mate. I found her lying close to Lightning Pack. She was beaten and blood was everywhere. My mate almost died, but I can't point fingers yet. My father are good friends with the Lightning Pack. Anyways I need to get back on my work.

When I was trying to concentrate on working a nurse Jisoo came rushing into the room,

Jisoo: Your highness, We heard a loud clash coming from your mates room and the door won't open.

So much adrenaline came through me. I rushed out of the room as quickly as my feet would carry me. I made it to the door hoping she'd be alright. I kicked it down my first try. I saw her. My mate curled up into a ball on the floor with little droplets of blood hitting the floor.  What happened? I rushed over to her and smuggled her into a hug. Trying to comfort her, but she was tensed like she was scared or even terrified. I kept trying to persuade that everything was going to be alright. After a couple tries she calmed down. Untensing her muscles. I let go of her to see if she was alright. Until, I heard the most upsetting things I ever heard in my life.

Y/n: P-please don't hurt me. Please...

My heart dropped. It tore open inside me. Why would she think I'd hurt her? I would never even lay a finger on her. Who made her like this? Someone hurt my mate and I'm going to find out who.

                    Y/n's POV

I tried to avoid eye contact because I was to scared to look at him in the face. I saw his body a little tense after what I said. He swiftly grabbed my small, soft, cold hand, holding it gently warming it with his own. I looked up at him to see his mouth open slightly, like he wanted to speak. Tears were forming in eyes as his muscles untense. He soon speaks up.
