Moon sat on a bench in the other part of Rosswood Park. There was a nice playground and some kids were having fun, playing tag. She pulled a sketch notebook out of her backpack that she usually carried around. She couldn't forget her backpack. It was vital. It carried her meds, ibuprofen, cough drops, a flashlight, some other materials like rope and duct tape, etc. And a weapon which happened to be a karambit.
She noticed a stranger sitting on another separate bench alone. Moon studied their features. Sparkling e/c eyes, fluffy looking h/l h/c hair. Soft looking skin. Moon had the sudden urge to draw this newfound stranger so she opened up her notebook, flipping past a few disturbing drawings, she found a free page and began to draw the bench first. The stranger seemed to just be enjoying their surroundings, slightly glancing at Moon as they scanned around.
When Moon was finished with her drawing she looked at it. It was quite a piece. One of the best she has probably done. The stranger was even more stunning on paper, drawn in her style made the stranger become even more interesting. Some leaves wisped around the stranger because of the soft wind that was blowing. Moon packed up the notebook and placed it back in her backpack making sure to zip it up so nothing fell out. She stood up and slinged it over her should and over the other one.
Y/N was sitting peacefully on the bench. Content with the way things were. The wind blew softly and fallen leaves skipped around in circles. The wind naturally ruffled their hair. They sniffled and scrunched up their nose, wrapping their black and f/c scarf tighter around their neck and chin.
A stranger was approaching Y/N and Y/N looked over at them. The person who was approaching happened to be a young female at least 18 years of age. She looked troubled and sickly. None the less she did look friendly and sweet. "Hello there, stranger." The female greeted Y/N with a smile. Y/N returned the smile, not yet speaking. "May I sit?" The female asked hesitant but polite and gestured to the empty spot on the bench. Y/N nods accepting the request. "Thank you." She says softly, a silence following up after a few moments. "What brings you to Rosswood on this barren day?" Y/N asked curiosity lacing their voice as they break the inevitable awkward silence. Y/N stares into the bluish-gray eyes of the other. "Well, I often come here. If not here, the actual trails and forest itself." She speaks softly, her voice calming and soothing. "What about you?" She throws back the question. "I come here sometimes to relax and enjoy the sight." Y/N shrugged and sniffled again due to the cold. They adjusted their scarf once more. "Yeah, Rosswood is pretty peaceful." The young female admitted. "What's your name?" She asked Y/N. Y/N was hesitant. "My name is Y/N." Y/N said watching the others body language. The female smiled, "That's a great name. I don't know anyone named Y/N. Actually, wait, I guess I do know someone named Y/N now. That would be you." The female laughs quietly obviously trying to be funny and joke around. The female looks away, seemingly nervous but trying her best not to show it. Y/N only smiled at the attempt of being funny. "Since you asked my name, what would be yours?" Y/N asked, adjusting their scarf once again. "It's just Moon." The other known as Moon shrugged and kept avoiding eye contact, a little embarrassed and anxious. "Moon? I've never met anyone named that either. Looks like we're both one of a kind." Y/N scratches their head still smiling. Moon's smile widens and she looked back into Y/N's e/c eyes. "Yeah I guess so..." Moon trailed off, yet again avoiding eye contact and choosing to stare off into the distance. After a few minutes of silence Moon stood up suddenly. "I have to go. Maybe I'll see you around sometime again Y/N?" Moon questioned tilting her head as she looked down at the other. Y/N nodded. "It would be a pleasure to see you again another time." Y/N returned to sweet conversation and watched as Moon dismissed herself.
Moon left the other so suddenly because she felt as if she couldn't stick around long. She could tell she was being watched and didn't want a random stranger to be a witness or something. Moon walked slowly into the forest of Rosswood, disappearing into the treeline.
