Y/N didn't know what was going on or why Moon was acting so weird all of a sudden. They sighed softly as they sat on their bed in their bedroom, the mellow and soothing red Christmas lights that they had hung in their room relaxed them and it was quite the aesthetic. Plus it was the only thing keeping their room lit because it was basically pitch black outside now. 'I think it was because I brought up the story of those masked freaks that showed on the news yesterday.' They thought to themselves as they got up slowly from their bed. 'But why? Maybe Moon was just scared of that kind of thing. I have no idea.' They continued to think on. They wandered over to their window and lingered by it, the cold of the window radiating off of it. They pressed their index finger against the condensation, drawing a heart which looked red due to the lights hanging.

Y/N's eyes wandered to the locks on the top of the window.

They were unlocked. "I thought I locked you." Y/N said softly as they sighed, locking the window back up again. They rested their head against the cold glass and stared outside into the blank night, cars occasionally passing by, not a star in the sky and the clouds had gotten thicker so they covered up the moon. They yawned softly, their warm breath making more condensation on the window. They started to softly sing Prom Queen by Beach Bunny.

Their once bright and hopeful gleaming e/c eyes turned glossy and dialated. Their voice began to break as they sang. They sniffled and began to cry, warm tears streaming down their sad face and onto the window sill.

After Y/N finished the song they wandered slowly over to their dresser and on top of it was a small wooden box shaped like a heart. Y/N carefully flipped it open revealing a Polaroid picture of a boy. Maybe from highschool, a couple years ago. They sniffled a single tear landing on the picture. Y/N picked it up, the tear sliding down the Polaroid and looked at it while still holding the box. "Asher..how could you do that to me." Y/N whispered softly, their sad eyes hinted with deep rage yet they chose not to reveal. "I loved you, I trusted you! I-" They stopped speaking to themselves and just started crying again. Y/N returned the picture to the box and closed it. They placed it carefully onto the dresser in it's resting place.

Y/N slowly returned over to their bed and sat down on it feeling sad and lonely as they grabbed their stuffed purple rabbit that had previously been sitting their, untouched. They hugged it close to their heart, warm tears falling onto the rabbit. They've had that rabbit for as long as they could remember and would never dream of giving it up. "I'm pathetic. Crying over some highschool crush I STILL have." They mumbled, voice creaky from crying. "I did everything for him and it still wasn't good enough. I asked him to prom, I- he denied me! He said I wasn't good looking enough! I wasn't skinny enough! I wasn't PERFECT enough!!!!" They nearly screamed, clinging tightly onto the rabbit as anger replaced their sadness. "I am such a fool..to still love him to this day." They said solemnly, their face still looking sad and angry. They buried their face into the soft purple fur of the rabbit. "I know it's time to move on but I just can't, I just can't get over him. I need help." Y/N mumbled into the rabbits fluff.
