*Kara’s POV*
I woke up to Mary shaking me
“ Get up Kara we are here.” Mary softly spoke
I reached for the chair in front of me and pulled myself up, then followed the long line of people getting off.
- 1 Hour Later-
We got into the rent car Rob got then started driving to our new home. It was really nice here even though it was winter, which baffled me because it was summer in Michigan.
After about 5 minutes we pulled up to a cute little house on wallaby rd
Rob: “ Well Karebear, Welcome home!”
I didn’t know what to think but everything hit me all at once and I realized my life was never going to be the same.
-9:00pm-
It has been a rough day i’m tired,and i finally finished unpacking all my shit, ughh moving sucks. What really makes me mad is that I have to start school tomorrow and they are almost done with the year here.I layed down on my bed and slowly drifted off into a deep sleep.
-Next Day-
I sat up in my bed while my alarm was blaring American Idiot. I got up and walked to my closet that I filled with clothes the night before and then remembered I had to wear a uniform. After slipping on my uniform I did my make up and brushed my teeth I really didn’t need to eat breakfast.
“ Come on Kara the bus will be here in a minute “ Mary shouted
“ Okay I need to grab my books” I yelled to make sure she heard me
Wow I am NOT ready for this. I walked downstairs and out the front door checking my phone to see if I am going to be late and just my luck the bus already left.
The school wasn’t that far from my house so I started walking when I heard footsteps behind me
“Hey haven’t seen you around here!” said a voice with a thick accent
I turned around to see a dirty blonde haired boy with an awesome fringe
“ Hey i’m Michael, what’s your name?” asked Michael
Kara: “oh hi my name is Kara, do you live around here?”
Michael: “ yeah I live down the street but may I ask what are you doing outside and not at school?”
Kara: “ Well I missed the bus and I don’t really know how to get there, you know since I just moved here yesterday.”
Michael: “What school?”
Kara: “Norwest Christian College, if you know where th-
Michael: “ KNOW WHERE THAT IS? I GO THERE TOO WANT TO BE MY WALKING BUDDY!?”
Kara: “ sure Michael!”
Michael:” No you’re too cool call me Mikey.”
Kara: “ Okay lets go shall we Mikey!” I giggled
We started walking and wow I can’t believe I have a friend!
